The owner, who had a very difficult time in 2013, said that he once went to various places in Chungcheong-do and Gangwon-do to meet natural people from all over the country. It is said that he learned life by breaking through difficult mountain roads to meet people who live in nature, and by having many conversations in a place surrounded by mountains. On the way out, he said that he had a lot of conversations with the bosses while drinking coffee at a quiet country cafe in the middle of the way, and that it was a big opportunity to change his life.

In a gray city, we find nature without realizing it. This is the reason why there is a park wherever you grow plants and put flowerpots in your house. The natural grass and trees, the sounds of birds and the sound of water put people at ease, and the sunlight that shines on them warms the mind moderately and gives peace of mind.
The reason we find leisure in nature is probably because we can feel the right time, even for a short time. Nature flows without being shaken by anyone or any elements, following nature's time, as it is. It's not rushed, it's not too slow, and it flows as if it was the original time. Inside the cafe, there is a courtyard, filled with the sounds of water and birds. A small stream running through the courtyard illuminates the trees and grass when it receives sunlight, and the birdsong fills the invisible part. And the trees and grass that are scattered around the cafe show the identity of the cafe. If you go up to the roof on the 3rd floor, you can look down on the landscape and courtyard of Anseong, so it is a space enough to empty your mind. It's not easy to find a break in a large cafe these days. However, this place has created an atmosphere where there is no burden on the owner, and seeing that the tables and chairs are comfortable to use, I felt the heart of the owner once again. Following the owner's words, it was Ons Upon Nature, a place where you can visit with a comfortable mind in a 'space of value' called a cafe and fill your heart with taste and style.

This place is located on a country road in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do. Although coffee is also sold, it is a teahouse that mainly focuses on tea. It is characterized by a 500 pyeong lawn garden centered around the old houses and the house where the tea house owner resides.
The old house is actually a tea house building, and there is a small newly added space right next to it, solving the cramped space in the old house and increasing the number of seats. The extended building creates a ceiling that can receive warm sunlight, bringing in the outside temperature and sunlight as it is, and neatly designed windows capture the scenery on a quiet country road. The interior is also composed of bright wood tones to harmonize well with the house. The house has a small number of seats and counters, and when entering the house, the window facing the garden is better, ensuring an open feeling even though it is cramped.

A well-maintained and spacious garden will never be a less beautiful day, 365 days a year. In spring, when flowers are in abundance, it is bright, in summer it is green, and in autumn, it creates an atmosphere unique to that season, and in winter, the snow falls with the snow scene.
In fact, it is said that the owner of the tea house felt too precious to sit here alone and drink tea, so he made 'Yuyuchajeok' to share this place with many people. It is a space sufficient for sharing good things and making time to think.

When I actually visited this place, when I looked at the garden while sitting on the small tongmaru in the old house and enjoying the refined drinks and sweets, I felt a sense of calm. When I take pictures, I often wait for the moment when the day is clear and when the light from the sky is bright. But as I sat here on the floor, I started imagining the moment when it rained. I imagined the moment I had a cup of hot tea, opened a small book, and listened to the sound of rain. It was a new experience I felt while visiting the cafe.
Leaving the world and living a quiet and comfortable life without any restraints, I thought that the person who came up with the name was really good. The owner is also very kind, enjoys this job, and welcomes people who enjoy this space with infinite gratitude. Later, on a rainy day, I would like to visit with a light mind and enjoy the leisurely time.

On the way, large signboards kindly guide the way. From the entrance to the cafe, you are in harmony with nature. Passing through all green places, I thought that there might be a cafe in such a place, and I entered the cafe, and I was more than happy to meet the cafe.

Plants feel the time due to large and growing. The trees are getting a little more abundant and lively, and the flowers are in full bloom, reaching their heyday in the time they live.

Trees and flowers of nature gather to create a landscape, animals enter and breathe life into it, and the sounds of wind and birds fill invisible parts to create a complete space. In the meantime, the building and people are brought together and become one with the numerous surrounding elements to create an unforgettable moment by adding better memories, i.e. memories and experiences. That is the role of architecture, and that is why space exists.

It was a cafe I had visited even in the early days of opening, and I have visited many times. But it was never always the same. In the spring I visited this time, I could feel that spring and saw the colors of summer coming. It was a space I wanted to visit and talk with my grandmother, who loved nature so much looking at the blooming flowers and swaying trees.

This is a small cafe located in a rural area in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do. It is located on a relatively high site, so you can see a refreshing view. The seats are also located on both sides of the mountain, so if you are visiting to find some time to relax, you can get enough rest.
The building was also framed like a brick house in the countryside and released as a trendy space. The bricks, which can be boring, are made around a large white wall to give off a warm feeling.
This place is also famous for its scones, but every time I visit, they are all sold out, so I have never tasted it. So I often bought bingsu, and it was really a sniper to my taste.
Anseong is a relatively less dense neighborhood than other cities. You can feel relaxed wherever you go, and you don't have to worry about running out of time. I hope you take a short break in a fairy tale-like place in a relaxed neighborhood.
