The right example of a large cafe

I can't say for sure because I haven't been to every country in the world, but I expect that the genre of large cafes in the suburbs probably exists only in Korea. The narrow land between major cities makes it possible to access cafes from several cities to the suburbs, a high population density that makes it difficult to accommodate those who need a rest without a separate indoor space, and a long road for a special holiday despite any obstacles. This is because it can only be achieved when both the nationality and the high-level road infrastructure they have laid out are simultaneously satisfied.

Perhaps it's because it's a genre that requires big business decisions and the accompanying capital, and in most cases, I try to put as many things as possible in the prepared space. It is grateful to want to show as many things as possible to guests who have traveled far, but unfortunately, the impression I feel as a guest is often sloppy.

To see if this sad feeling has been conveyed, recently, large cafes with a good overall balance are being discovered, and the Sokcho branch of Sydney Noir is an example of this. First of all, it is clean from the outside without any protruding elements. It was really nice to feel the open feeling the moment I entered the high-rise interior space, as there were no elements that obstruct the view. On one side, the window is wide so that you can see the foot of Mt. Seorak, and on the other side, a wonderful maple tree gives a unique sense of season. Even in the middle of winter, it is still autumn inside Sid Noir.

The decisive reason why the memory of this place was good is that the taste of the food followed by the appreciation of the space acted as a positive factor in the overall experience. Rather, I still have the desire to visit again for a few bakery menus. The location, the view, the space, and the food were all prepared for a foreigner who had traveled a long way to this place called a cafe.

Bosanova in Sokcho is a place where you can see the beach, the pine forest, and the blue sky. It's a roastery cafe with beautiful views and space. The taste of the coffee is as good as you would expect and they offer a variety of beans and MDs. They also have bakery menus that go well with their coffee. They have a pet-friendly space on the first floor. On the third floor, there are beautiful landscapes that are perfect for photo zones. The fourth floor offers a warm sitting room and outdoor seating for those who are bringing pets or kids. Bosanova Sokcho is located at 161, Haeoreum-ro, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do.

Pointet is a cafe near Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal. It was a cafe that was the final destination of a day trip to Sokcho, and it was a nice cafe I met at the intercity bus terminal where I arrived a little early to catch the bus to Seoul. Goseong and Sokcho have a lot of ocean views, so I think the Pointet cafe could be seen more clearly. The simple feeling of the space dominated by navy tone was impressive, and the space that embraces the Sokcho Port view, not the ocean view, seems to be the beginning and end of the Sokcho trip.

Inside, the coffee bar is the main, and there are many tables on both sides and the back, so it was very good to spend a cozy time. The signature menu, Pointet Wave, and the dessert served as a service included the sea. The dessert was delicious. The greatest law is the happiness you meet by chance, as I always did. For the traveler who fled to Sokcho, it was a point where he could feel the sea with his mouth, not with his eyes.

I ordered a signature coffee called Pointet Wave, and the gift of latte art in the shape of waves with black sesame was impressive. It's a black sesame cream latte, which is sweet and relieves my tired body.

Pointet's music is colored with medium-tempo R&B music. They say that they change their song selection every season, and there are songs that make you feel comfortable just listening to R&B music during the daytime. Do you remember the bunk-off in Seongnam, where I went to advertisement content before? I expressed it as a music restaurant, and the Pointet also plays music that matches the space as much as there.

Located in an alley in Gyo-dong, Sokcho, the vegan cafe Luruch reminds me of weekend mornings. The feeling of being invited to the couple's study and kitchen and the stillness flowing through the space calms the mind and actions.

If I could describe my experience here in one word, it would be 'participation'. He left after participating in the couple's vegan diet and a lifestyle of contemplation through reading. (This participation touched my heart, so I have been there three times over the past year or so.)

There is no compromise in the quality of vegan desserts and drinks as much as the clear direction, and paradoxically, I can focus on my own moment more because I am as careful as I am to my guests. A result of mutual respect and consideration that spreads like a drop of ink that has fallen into the water.
