난대없이 잡혀버린 미팅에 급 한남동행. 어 이런게 있었나? 싶은 B알파벳이 크게 적힌 건물을 발견했다. 문앞에는 베이글이 쌓여있고… 오호라 이것 봐라? 베이글이 핫하니까 이제 건물까지 올려서 파는구나! 지하 1층 지상 3층에 루프탑까지 있는 베이글로 꽉찬 베이글샵이 새로 생겼다.

앤틱한 유럽 느낌으로 전 층이 인테리어 되어 있다. 1층은 말그대로 베이글로 가득 차 있는 베이글 공간이다. 갓 만들어진 베이글 샌드위치와 너무 먹음직스럽게 잘 구워진 다양한 종류의 베이글이 디피되어있다. 베이글 사이에 크림이 가득 들어간 크림베이글은 여기서 처음 본 신기한 메뉴. 샌드위치를 주문하면 디피되어 있는 걸 그대로 가져오면 된다고 하는데 그 부분은 좀 아쉽긴 했다. 그냥 새로 만들어 주시는 편이 좋지 않을까!?

2층에서 눈길을 끄는 건 가운데 있는 분수. 이건 또 어디서 공수해 오신건지… 분수와 식물 인테리어로 이국적인 테라스 느낌을 만들어 내었다. 벽에 설치된 조명들과 구석구석까지 신경쓴 소품들 그리고 유럽 느낌이 나는 바닥까지 디테일을 놓치지 않은 인테리어가 여기 찐이다! 하는 느낌이 든다.

루프탑은 진짜 캠프파이어를 할 수 있는 장작이 마련되어 있다. 진짜 불을 켜주시는 듯 불에 그을려 있었는데 이거 저녁에도 한번 와 봐야… 따로 높은 건물이 없어 뷰도 너무 좋다. 노을이 질 즈음 올라와서 루프탑에서 여름의 시원한 바람을 즐기기 너무 좋을 공간.

내가 주문한 건 베이글 사이에 절인 금귤과 잠봉, 루꼴라, 크림치즈, 홀그레인머스터드가 들어간 샌드위치. 금귤의 상큼함이 호불호가 갈릴수도 있지 않을까.. 싶은 생각이 들긴 했지만 그래도 너무 잘 어울렸다. 특히나 베이글집 답게 쫀득한 베이글의 고소함이 제대로!! 잠봉도 그렇고 루꼴라도 그렇고 재료를 신선하고 좋은 것을 쓴 듯한 느낌이 들었다.

안국역의 그 어마어마한 베이글집에 뒤지지 않을 멋진 베이글 샵이 한남동에 등장한 것 같다. 특히나 여름밤 루프탑은 너무 욕심나는 장소. 베이글, 커피 뿐 아니라 맥주도 판매하고 있으니 더 유명해지기 전에 얼른 저녁에 다시 와서 맥주한잔 해야 하지 않을까? 싶은 곳.

Movement Lab is a curation store in Hannam-dong. Movement Lab, which met us in Busan and Uiwang, with the concept of a lifestyle editorial shop, starts provisionally opening today in Hannam-dong.

The interior consists of the 2nd basement floor and the 4th floor, where you can find used, refurbished, and vintage furniture and accessories of various brands that someone used to promote a taste that is more valuable than a new one. Pop-up exhibitions, F&Bs, experiences, etc. Every time you visit each floor, you feel as if you are opening a drawer that reveals someone's taste. The 2nd and 3rd floors are the second market showrooms, and the 4th floor and rooftop are operated as a cafe called “Moment Hannam”.

Movement Lab's music preserves the individuality of each floor. First of all, the cafe space on the 4th floor is the album [Song For Our Daughter] by 'Laura Marling', which evokes nostalgia for folk country pop. The beautiful and warm Laura Marling's tone is added to the languid and rough guitar melody, so it's harmonious as if the bright light was expressed through music. Here, funky and groovy SOUL genre music flows in the underground shop space, giving it a hip feel different from that of a cafe. The 'Rocket Factory Painting' exhibition held at Thadeusropak is one of the projects that Tom Sachs has been paying close attention to, and it is the first exhibition that focuses on the NFT project Rocket Factory. More than 150,000 rocket combinations can be created from rocket parts engraved with 30 brands such as Chanel, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, and Apple that are accepted worldwide, and the community can present 1,000 NFT rockets combined with their own choice . The artist presents a new approach to creating a virtual rocket as a physical sculpture and further reinventing it as a painting, unlike the method that many platforms distributing NFTs use to digitally replace physical works of art. In this exhibition, 14 paintings created by selecting 14 of rocket parts and rocket NFTs that assembled them are presented.
