An impressive collection of books fills one corner of Cafe Gongmyeong, a bakery cafe operated by a publishing house. Everywhere, there are book-related details. For example, the menu is designed as a book among shelves, creating a thematic atmosphere. The cafe benefits from natural light due to its large windows, and its interior is spacious with high ceilings, making it feel open and airy. It offers a variety of delicious desserts, with whipped cream scones and biscuit choux being famous. Coffee is made with Dukes beans. There are no outlets in front of the bookshelf walls, but outlets are available at seats near wall pillars, projector-equipped seats, and tables in front of the counter. The atmosphere generally is quiet with a variety of music genres playing, suitable for individual work. Except for the low tables near the windows, most tables are of a height appropriate for working. Operating daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Wi-Fi speed is average. Building parking is available (paid). Americano is priced at 5.0, and Caffe Latte at 6.0.

'Death Tool', where the unstructured spatial composition inspires creative inspiration. Destool is the German word for 'chair'. Cafe Destool is a chair that can be found anywhere, but it is said that a new experience is always unfolded when you sit on it. Knowing the purpose of the space and visiting it made my time in Deathtool more enjoyable. Located in the middle of the cafe, it is a space where you can share new perspectives in your familiar daily life in a free space with no set rules, such as a coffee bar with unclear boundaries and various types of tables and chairs. The window seat is well lit and it was good to cool off while looking at the view of the green trees through the whole glass window.

🔌Outlet: A lot. There are plenty of power outlets on the right wall for multi-person tables and coffee bars.

🎶 Atmosphere: There is hip music. If you are visiting for work, we recommend visiting on weekdays!

🪑Table and chair: The height of the table and chair is suitable for working. There are a variety of tables, such as a spacious shared table for laptops, a table for 4, and a table for 2 people.

Anthracite Seogyo is a quiet and charming space renovated from an old house. There's no music playing, allowing guests to focus on nature and coffee quietly. Instead of an espresso machine's mechanical noises, everything is offered through hand drip. There are ample spots suitable for using laptops, including large tables on the first and third floors and a coffee bar on the second floor. It seems to attract individuals needing concentration because it's quiet. I should visit again on a rainy summer day to enjoy the mood and work. 🔌Outlets are not plentiful despite the large scale, so it's recommended to come fully charged! 🎶Atmosphere: It's literally 'silent.' The absence of music mostly encourages quiet conversations. When I visited on a public holiday afternoon, the ratio of people talking to those working on laptops was 3:7. 🪑Tables, Chairs: Chairs and tables made of wood are at a suitable height for working. Many tables are shared. Operating hours: Daily 9-22 Menu and Price: Drip coffee 7.0, Moka pot latte 8.0 Public transport: 172m from Exit 1 of Mangwon Station Wi-Fi: Available but slightly slow!

The first floor has a very high floor and is structured so that more working people can gather to work. The second floor is a bit quieter. Drinks and desserts are all delicious. It is also possible to change the decaf coffee beans.

Moritz Platz is located in a quiet alley a bit far from the bustling streets of Yeonnam-dong. It is a cafe on the 2nd floor where a shop and a cafe are operated together. The interior is a mid-century style with a sensual and overall vintage feel. The sensuous paintings give it a gallery-like feel, and sensuous objects are sold.
Uniquely, there is a fully open baking area on one side of the store on the second floor. I was distracted by the smell of baking while I was working. It was a space where I could feel a lot of attention was paid to coffee, bread, and the interior.

🔌Outlet: There is no outlet on the first floor, but there is an outlet on the wall by the window on the second floor. There are not many outlets, so I recommend that you fully charge it!

🎶Atmosphere: Calm jazz without lyrics flows. With good quality speakers, good music flowed at a good volume to listen to, so I was able to work comfortably.

🪑Tables and chairs: These are tables and chairs of a suitable height. Most seats are for two, but there are also tables for four on both the first and second floors. There are plenty of seats.

✔️TIP: If you feel overwhelmed by crowds of cafes in Yeonnam-dong on weekends, we recommend Moritz Platz! Moritz Platz, located in a quiet alley, has good coffee, atmosphere, and interior, but it is not a cafe crowded with too many people, so it is good to concentrate on work even on weekends.
