We have compiled a list of places that best represent the taste of sushi in Korea. If you like sushi, we recommend that you visit at least once.
Ariake
Sushiya 'Ariake' located on the 2nd floor of the Shilla Hotel in Seoul
We are taking reservations on the 1st of every month.
Among them, Morita-san, one of the great roots of domestic sushi, is
I was lucky enough to visit on the day I did the housework myself.
It takes a separate phone reservation on the 15th.
The smooth service like flowing water on Morita and the calming feeling of sushi.
In addition to the signature tuna (especially akamizuke),
Despite the Shilla Hotel's policy of using only domestic ingredients,
Unlike before, you can immediately feel that the quality of the raw material has improved a lot.
The original quality of almost all pieces was really good.
Reservation difficulty is very high
If you are a sushi fanatic, I recommend you to go and try it.

Seusiya
Chef Lee Jung-woon's sushi located at Jeongja Station.
A place that always serves sushi of unparalleled quality.
This was my first visit after the price went up, and it seemed to explain the reason why it was difficult to make a reservation for sushi with a more diverse set of dishes and a more perfect balance of shari (rice) and neta (fish).
I hope to visit you more often this year, and if you like sushi, I highly recommend you to go there.

Sushi In
'Sushiin' in Sinsa-dong
This restaurant is run by Chef Jinwook Lee, one of the few artisans that come to mind when thinking of sushi in Korea.
I think that Tsumami Dish, like a high-class dish made with great care, is outstandingly superior in the current sushi scene.
The sushi is also quite large in neta (fish) and shari (rice), and the feeling of satisfaction you can feel in your mouth from each piece is impressive.
In particular, the sushi of this day was flawless, from the balance between the temperature of Shari and neta, and the amount of vinegar. It is a place where you always look forward to your next visit with a sense of satisfaction when you leave after a meal.
Reservations are only available to existing members who have reservations, so if you have the opportunity, we recommend you to visit.
✔️Location: 49 Apgujeong-ro 42-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
✔️Tip: Lunch omakase 180,000 won, dinner omakase 300,000 won Reservation ticket holders only.
Kojima
Located on the 6th floor of Cheongdam Funder Shop, 'Kojima' is a sushi restaurant maintaining a Michelin two-star rating, unique among sushi restaurants in Korea. Chef Park Kyung-jae, hailing from a prestigious culinary background, showcases his perfectionism through each sushi piece's pristine presentation and impactful taste that maximizes the natural flavors of the ingredients. Despite the high prices, it is highly recommended to experience it at least once.
세야스시
Chef Jang Seong-tae's Seya Sushi, located in Cheongdam. Despite the geographical burden due to its location in Dongtan, its improved accessibility is now a major highlight, and the sushi, as always, is outstanding. The prices of champagne, in particular, are favorable, and the slightly expanded interior and carefully selected tableware are noticeable. It seems that a bit more time is needed to adapt to the new space, but it is recommended for those who didn't get a chance to visit in Dongtan.
Kizuna (키즈나)
Located in Sogyeokdong, Sushi ‘Kizuna’ is a business owned by Chef Song Ung-sik, who was in Ariake Sushi. The restaurant, akin to Chef Song's calm demeanor, features an interior from the entrance to the inside that is impressively serene and tidy. The ambiance provided by the restaurant changes with the seasons, which is quite delightful. As is the case with the Ariake style, the sushi exhibits neat and lovely presentation, with the rice impressively maintaining good balance with the vinegar. One of the signatures of this place, the triple-layered mackerel, abalone, and sweet potato fries dish, is highly recommended if you haven’t tasted it yet.
