The main branch of Ichiran Ramen, found throughout Japan. The largest and most majestic among the Ichiran Ramens I've seen. From the richness of the broth to the spiciness and garlic, everything can be customized to the diner's taste. If you're new to ramen, I recommend starting with Ichiran.

The ramen place in Fukuoka where I had the richest and most cost-effective ramen. The gyoza ramen fried rice set is 720 yen, allowing you to enjoy gyoza and fried rice for the price of one ramen. However, I recommend this to those who like a rich broth.

Shin Shin Ramen's Tenjin main store, already famous in Fukuoka, draws huge lines of people wanting to eat ramen as soon as it opens. If you can't eat there because it's too crowded at lunch, try your luck in the evening as it stays open late. Be sure to try the lunch set during lunchtime!

Menya Tyson exudes a strong vibe from its name. Especially, the chashu in the Tonkotsu ramen was exquisite. It felt as if it were melting away in my mouth. Plus, you can buy a chashu bowl as a set...! Definitely try it along with the chashu bowl.

Ichigo Izakaya in Nishijin street, Fukuoka. A great place for a light drink with not only yakitori but also various side dishes. It's highly recommended if you're stepping out of Tenjin or Hakata to Nishijin.
