From Japanese yatai to Christmas illuminations, this is a full first night in Fukuoka! โœจ๐ŸŽ„ You can see everything on foot, so it's recommended as a one-night course.

The Nakasu River reminded me of a smaller Han River. Around six in the evening, food stalls pop up along the riverside, and now, being the Christmas season, carols were playing. The streets were filled with lights, making it seem prettier at night than during the day. At night, you can see the reflection of the city in the river along with cruise ships.

Fukuoka is famous for its Yatai (food stalls). Especially along Tenjin Station and Nakasu River, a street of food stalls is formed. Unlike food stalls in Korea, which are a bit different, there are only small bar table-like seats, making the distance between the owner and the customers very close. Perhaps because of this, the atmosphere was strong with people chatting cosily. The place I stopped by had no Koreans, only Japanese who came for a light drink after work. If you want to immerse yourself in Japan's evening routine, it's definitely worth a tryโœจ

Seiryu Park, located at the starting point leading from Canal City to the Nakasu riverside. Although it's a small park, the large tree situated in the center was so spectacular at night that I spent a long time taking photos. Before heading to Nakasu food stall street, I recommend this place as a photo zone!โœจ

The Christmas market taking place at Hakata Station offers a variety of attractions, from the heart-display board that captures the citizens' appearances to the market and illuminations ๐ŸŽ„.

Canal City Hakata, a must-visit shopping spot in Fukuoka. It's famous for its Christmas illuminations and fountain shows. Although the fountain show is not incredibly spectacular, it's a good spot for shopping and taking photos with a festive Christmas year-end vibe. ๐ŸŽ„โœจ
