Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok
The hotel itself says that it blurs the line between hotel and urban Eden and I totally agree with that! Kimpton Maa-Laai, a lush oasis itself, is located next to the famed Lumphini Park, situated in the Langsuan district known for its greenery, bustling restaurants, and vibrant energy. The luxurious rooms and suites encourage you to make this a home-away-from-home while lounging in organic linen bathrobes which are hand-made by Thai artisans. This heavenly feeling continues on at amaranth spa by HARNN and Biologique Recherche where I had the most wonderful rejuvenating treatment; but also throughout the entire hotel itself, its restaurants, bars, service desk, as everyone is so kind and accommodating, always with the warmest smile on their face. I have felt so welcome here and that really speaks to the Eden-like atmosphere Kimpton Maa-Lai can create!
Open House Central Embassy
Open House is located at the top floor of Central Embassy, a luxury shopping center. This open concept space houses many restaurants, a café, patisserie, bookstores, shops, a gallery, a co-thinking space, kid's playground, and more! I wish I had space in my suitcase to bring back some books and pottery and stationary.. ugh it's such a cool space! 😍

Ittha Boutique Cafe
Decided to step out of Bangkok's center a bit to check out a cafe I've saved for a long time. It's a solid 12 BTS stations away from the center, but the European-style design really leaves an impression. The local Thais still come to check in a lot. The word 'ittha' is defined right on the wall as 'pleasing' & 'happiness'. The vibe here truly is comfortable as it's away from the noisy, bustling Bangkok center. Plus, the food and drinks at the cafe will put you in a really happy mood. The menu is diverse & quite appealing. Sadly, after a whole day of cafe hopping, I had no room left to 'indulge' anymore 🤣. I still went for my familiar favorite, Salted Caramel Macchiato (155B) and tried a carrot cake muffin (75B). To get there, head to BTS Punnawitti and take a grab bike/bolt for about 2km because walking just won't do 😂. The cafe is almost at the end of the alley, the journey there feels like heading back to the countryside. If you ever want to experience a cafe a bit away from the center, try this place.
OH MY GOD | Khaosan road
The hidden Gospel.
The newest member of Khao San Road, cafe and bar with cool vibes with great Thai fusion foods, drinks, coffee, and bakery.
Mae Salong Croissant Phra Athit
The twin stars of butter pastry, croissant, and kouign-amann. You can also taste a unique menu that includes ice cream between the cupcake-shaped croissant and kouign-amann. Takeout only. You can order drinks from the cafe next door. Mon-Fri 11:30-19:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-19:00.
TEP BAR - Cultural Bar of Thailand
Tep Bar has been dubbed the first cultural bar of Thailand due to its location, the traditional live music which they first started doing (it's fascinating!), and the ya dong they serve (Thai herbal whiskey). Sadly the ya dong was too strong for my taste, so I opted for a craft beer and some sips of sato.
The bar is located inside a traditional house in this area is Chinatown which incorporates both eastern and western architecture. Not many of these have survived, but the younger generation is trying ro restore them and this neighbourhood is becoming an it-spot with lots of bars, restaurants, and cafés!
Kay's Embassy
Kay's which is originally a Bangkok coffeeshop had a pop-up in New York a few years back so I had to check it out now! The coffee was lovely! And the food looked really good 😍
Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, Vignette Collection
My first ~24 hours in Thailand were spent at this beautiful hotel in Bangkok's bustling Pathum Wan district. I enjoyed delicious room service, lounged by the pool (both in the evening and morning), reveled in the impressive city skyline, rested in the wonderfully designed suite, and experienced a great breakfast buffet! It was the perfect start to my trip 🥰
JODD FAIRS Rama 9 -night market
🇹🇭The hottest night market in Bangkok right now
The famous Talat Rot Pai 2 night market was closed and I went there because there is a new night market that is emerging these days.
It's located in the center of Bangkok, so it's easy to access and it's new, so it was clean and sanitary for a night market.
It is characterized by being surrounded by a forest of buildings, so you can enjoy the night market in the city center. As it is the most popular night market recently, there were a lot of people, both locals and tourists, but the price was slightly higher than other local night markets.
It was a good place to take a photo because you could capture the atmosphere of the night market and the surrounding high-rise buildings.
Lumphini Park
🇹🇭 If you need a break in the heart of Bangkok, Lumpini Park
If you need a break in the busy city of Bangkok, this is the place!!
It is a charming place where the harmony of buildings in the city center seen through the greenery trees is attractive. At first glance, it reminded me of New York Central Park.
The park is quite large, so it would be good to take a bottle of water for a walk. As you walk, you can see a giant water dragon. Also, if you like exercise, there is a local gym in the park, so please stop by!!
Saxophone Pub & Restaurant
🇹🇭 Bangkok travel, the perfect place to end the day
A saxophone pub located just a short walk down from Ari.
It is a pub with live performances, and the main instrument that leads the performance is the saxophone.
Like a pub, the focus is on the performers in the center in a generally dark atmosphere, and customers who visit this store sit around the first and second floors and watch the performance in the center together.
It was impressive to see everyone enjoying the performance regardless of nationality or gender, and personally, it is one of the most memorable places in Bangkok!!
Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River
A sensuous interior
from restaurants and bars
A beautiful swimming pool where you can be healed even if you don't swim and just sit.
A room with a great view of the Chao Phraya River!
It would not be an exaggeration to say that I had everything.

Capella Bangkok
I felt so good from the moment I entered the hotel.
The Capella Hotel is one of the world's luxury hotels.
Full of selfishness, really from one to ten
It was my favorite place.

'If I come back to Bangkok, I will definitely come back to the Capella Hotel.'
I think I said
From the accessories provided in the room to the basics provided
All items were of high quality.
There wasn't a single thing I didn't like.
The hotel itself is not large, so it is very private.

Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market
🇹🇭 A local fish market near Bangkok, only open on weekends
Hello, today I am going to introduce you to a place called Rat Mayom Fish Market. Located not far from downtown Bangkok, this place is only open on weekends and is a market frequented by Thai locals.
The scenery of the fish market is attractive and you can feel the local atmosphere. The price is also cheap, so you can eat a variety of delicious food.
You can also do a boat tour, and the price is as cheap as 100 baht (about 3,700 won). The tour takes about 2-3 hours and the price is very good!!
Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA BANGKOK)
Returning to Bangkok for the second time, and MOCA is one of the first reasons. Every arrangement, layout, color, image, light, color, is incredibly creative and calculated. It's one of the top contemporary art museums that you can't miss when visiting Bangkok.
ANONYMOUS COFFEE
The café in the middle of a cool, green garden in Bangkok 🌿. ☕️ Anonymous Coffee. 📍2065, 4 Phetchaburi Rd, Bang Kapi, Huai Khwang, Bangkok, Thailand. 🕘 08:30 - 16:00. 💵 100 - 200 THB. This must be the most impressive café to Leon during his recent trip to Thailand. The menu of the café might be simple, mainly featuring familiar specialty coffee selections. The coffee is good, with fancy & modern brewing equipment. The interior space of the café is like a block of iron bars that maximizes the use of natural light. Outside, there is a garden with flowers and trees providing a cool shade. Leon chose a Sally O’Brien coffee (200Baht) and a raisin Danish pastry. The staff at the café advise you on your drink selection carefully & enthusiastically. Everyone is friendly & cute. What's more special is that the café has an electronic board that can run a message or a cool quote for you. It’s quite ideal for making a virtual story to keep memories at the café. To get to the café, just take the BTS to Thong Lor station, then quickly grab a Bolt bike to take you to the café in just about 8 minutes ride 😁 #LeonCafeTeller
