LAAMS is a very fun vintage streetwear, apparel, art and bookstore with a screen printing and denim workshop upstairs. As you move through the floors, you’ll see vinyls and clothing while overlooking the main floor full of art, photography and books.

The Morgan library and museum is incredible - definitely worth a visit! Can't believe this used to be the owner's private library. Free on Fridays if you get tickets in advance!

A friend of mine owns this adorable bookstore that also sells pickles! You’ll be able to find every type of genre in here, and even fun board games. There’s truly something for everyone.

I've been feeling very uninspired lately when it comes to cooking so I visited this culinary-only bookstore for some inspiration! I found a great vegan cookbook that will hopefully help me and diversify the dinners I make 😊 Archestratus also has a cafe/small grocery adjacent to it that prepares Sicilian foods and baked goods. This space is also used for various classes, readings, screenings, tastings, dinner parties, and more! It's such a fun concept!

One of my favorite finds! It’s the only organization in the United States devoted solely to the vital art of fiction, aka they encourage people to read and value fiction. When I visited, they had many of the top books of the year and so many great new ones to discover. How can you not love this space and those hanging lights?

This place, which makes you feel as if you have come to another time and space, is a stationary store run by Mcnally Jackson books. Bookstores and stationery stores are the places I always look for when I travel, but Mcnally Jackson bookstore is such a place in New York.

When I arrive at a stay from a travel destination, I carefully look at the guestbook, pencil, and stationery there. Even though it is possible to grasp the taste of the maker as much as the scent of an invisible place or to peek at the fine details of the tip, writing instruments for recording and small stationery are elements that reward a good journey.

It is a must-visit place if you are traveling to New York, and it is the perfect place to present unique stationer props and memories from your trip.

Goods For the Study focuses on creating the perfect workspace, wherever that may be. The shop sells lovely stationary, writing and desk tools, desks, lamps and more. I love their notebooks and just strolling through the store when in the area. They also have an additional shop near SoHo.
