Estela
A restaurant in New York, Estela, is highly recommended for many reasons, not just for the taste of its food. It is the only place I visited twice during a short stay in New York, simply because of the food. The dishes at Estela, while appearing simple in their plating, release dynamic flavors that make you wonder how they were cooked so beautifully that you would want to dine there 2-3 times if possible with friends. If you want to experience essentially striking cuisine, Estela is definitely a choice you will not regret. The endive and rice dishes, which might seem nothing special, are so interesting that they will completely change your prejudices about them.
19 Cleveland
This is surely one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants, particularly for the falafel burger which is rare on a menu these days. They of course have all the standard Israeli cuisine including falafel, hummus, Shawarma and other plates. The space is always so lively, especially at night.
Bar Tulix
Bar Tulix is a seafood-centric, coastal Mexican restaurant serving up fresh crudos, seafood tostadas and other Baja California specialties. I personally am always down for Mexican food so I wanted to try this restaurant located in Manhattan. I loved the cozy ambiance, the friendly staff and the delicious food! The stuffed French toast surprised me in a good way so definitely make sure you order that when you visit :)

I don’t think I’ve ever walked out of Goods for the Study empty handed! I feel so much nostalgia when I walk into the store. It takes me back to the days of school supply shopping.

Cute spot to grab coffee (outdoor seating only). They also sell snacks, goods, and dried flowers.

Popped in to Peasant for a glass of wine. They have a new chef and it’s the most beautiful rustic space. Can’t wait to come back for dinner. (Also they have a secret wine bar in the basement!)

Enly is a candle shop and a coffee shop… all in one. Could you think of a more perfect combination? The smell is intoxicating, and the vibes are impeccable. Come here to buy gifts for everyone on your list this year!
Le Coucou
The acclaimed Le Coucou is located in The Howard Hotel in Soho and is one of the city's most famous French restaurants. I sadly haven't dined here yet, but I had to take a photo of their gorgeous bar! It was actually designed by Roman and Williams Guild, an interior design store I love visiting!
