Places where you can really feel the deep and rich atmosphere of Kyoto
I want to feel the whole atmosphere ๐
Somekobo Yumeyusai Inc.
Many people have been asking for the location, so I'm quickly posting this reflection. The Kyoto autumn foliage spot is too beautiful ๐ I went on a rainy day, but you can see an even prettier sight on a clear day ๐
๐ Arashiyama Yusai Tei
โ๏ธ Entry Fee 2,000 yen
โ๏ธ You can enter quickly by reserving in advance on the website.
โ๏ธ Reservation site https://yusai.kyoto
โ๏ธ 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
โ๏ธ Upon entering, you form a line and proceed through the viewing. So, even with many people, you don't have to jostle for a spot to take pictures like the one shown, but the downside is that it can be hard to take pictures leisurely during the autumn foliage season if the line is long.
โ๏ธ The third picture is from the last spot where you can relax comfortably if you find a spot.
โ๏ธ Despite the crowd in Arashiyama, the museum was relatively free of congestion.

Descending from the Ohara Station in the north of Kyoto, one finds the path leading up to Sanzen-in. The road, mingled with beautifully embroidered autumn leaves and lush green forests, creates a stunning landscape that naturally stops you in your tracks. It is highly recommended to fill your eyes and enjoy the ascent.
Nanzen-ji Temple
Located near Keage Station in Kyoto, the 'Nanzenji' Temple is a place where you can experience the beautiful autumn leaves decorating the temple's interior and the landscape harmoniously created by the greenery, even outside of fall, the space contains landscaping beauty, so it is highly recommended to visit when you come to Kyoto.
Rurikล-in Temple
Kyoto's most famous and popular framed garden, which has turned to a reservation system this fall season, making ticketing competitive. It consists of three gardens and a tea house, once used as a villa for the nobles and now serves as a temple.
Kyoto Gyoen National Garden
'I Wanted to Take Pictures Like This' The days spent in Kyoto were particularly memorable because I was able to freely take 'my photos,' which I hadn't been able to take for a while under the pretext of creating content. Here, more than being a foodie, I captured my forgotten tastes as photographer Jiwoo Park. โฑ ๐ Kyoto Imperial Palace Park (Kyoto Gyoen, ไบฌ้ฝๅพก่) ๐ท Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto (Kyotogyoen, Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto) ๐ฐ Always open (Some facilities have designated entry times) ๐ด No admission fee
Onomiyasu
Considering dango merely as simple skewered rice cakes is a mistake. The taste significantly varies depending on whether the dango is coated with sweet red bean paste, sprinkled with soybean flour, or the ingredients and even the method of grilling. On the way to the bus stop from Sanzen-in, this general store that grills dango over charcoal captures the attention of passersby. Although it's a touristy street food, the mix of miso and soy sauce made freshly in the shop was excellent, and the chewiness of the freshly grilled rice cakes was also very impressive. This is the third time I've had dango outside a convenience store, but no matter how well a convenience store is managed, it seems factory-made products just can't compare to those made on the spot. Dango should be bought and enjoyed outside of convenience stores. ๐ Onomiyasu (ใใฎใฟใใ) ๐ท 110 Oharashorinincho, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto ๐ฐ Daily 09:00 - 17:00
Kiyomizu-dera
The Reason You Must Visit Kiyomizudera in Kyoto
Today, let the photos do the talking.
Many travelers who visit Kiyomizudera say, "It was under construction," but now, Kiyomizudera is at its peak beauty following the completion of the construction.
Facing west, Kiyomizudera offers even more beautiful views at sunset.

Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
Fushimi Inari Shrine (Fox Shrine) in Kyoto is a beautiful place with a path lined with red pillars. Here, foxes are believed to be sacred messengers of the gods, and statues of foxes can be found throughout the shrine.
Sannenzaka
Why is there a pleasant feeling amidst the messiness? On the way down from Kiyomizu-dera, you'll pass through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, steeped in the superstition that falling here means two or three years of bad luck, respectively. When I first visited, my young self believed this and walked cautiously, but in recent years, my pragmatism has returned, and I strolled down without a second thought. It's not the superstition but the captivating scenery that truly catches oneโs attention. Sannenzaka, rumored to rob three years of luck, has become a place I wish to return to after three years. Contrary to the chaotic appearance in photographs, it was a place that was pleasant at every turn. Although most tourists will pass through because of Kiyomizu-dera, it's a must-visit place in Kyoto regardless.
Minatoya Yurei Kosodateame Honpo
A legendary candy store that has been around for over 500 years. A woman bought candy and gave a coin, which turned into a leaf the next day. This kept happening until the owner secretly followed the woman and discovered a crying child and its deceased mother under the ground. Since raising the child, the woman no longer appeared. The current, 22nd-generation owner sells a candy called Ureykosodateame, also known as ghost candy, made with the same recipe from 500 years ago. The candy, made with malt sugar and sugar in a 9:1 ratio, is not overly sweet. Although not extremely flavorful, it has a simple charm and warmth. Minatoya, the candy shop from this Japanese legend, is one of the few places in Kyoto with a history spanning nearly 500 years. It is a must-visit for fans of old stores, along with Ichimonjiya, which sells grilled mochi. Sampling is available, and the owner's kindness leaves a warm feeling.
Ninenzaka
Two years of misfortune turn into two years of waiting. It is a beautiful street where shops in front of Kiyomizu-dera are gathered.
Kayabuki No Sato
A countryside village near Kyoto where traditional houses are well-preserved. The village itself is so cute and lovely, making it a recommended place for a trip near Kyoto! Especially appealing to those who love taking photos! However, the village is small, so there are a few cafes and restaurants. This village looks beautiful during the autumn foliage season, snowy times, or when buckwheat flowers are planted.
Kamo River
The Kamo River is popular among both locals and tourists in Kyoto. It's great for strolls and also nice to just sit and relax. Be sure to enjoy the outdoor terraces of the restaurants along the river.
Murin-an Garden
Kyoto's beautiful garden Mirenan. Adults can view the beautifully landscaped garden with the house for an entrance fee of 600 yen :)
Tetsugaku No Michi
The path of contemplation, the path of philosophy
It is said that a long time ago, a Japanese philosopher often took a walk on this road. It's also a nice place to walk along the small waterfront under the wooded path. The promenade is well established, and there are cute little cafes and shops around, so if you walk around once, time passes quickly.
As the name suggests, you want to walk slowly and contemplate, but it is easy to walk because the cherry blossoms are in full bloom during the most famous spring season. If you visit in other seasons, it is better to walk a little more leisurely.
(Instead, if you visit early in the spring to avoid the crowds, you can see a really beautiful cherry blossom road, and after that, you can see a small waterside covered with cherry petals.)
The entire road is about 2km long, so it would be better to enjoy a short walk while visiting the most famous Silver Pavilion in this area rather than walking the whole path.
Kyoto Botanical Gardens
Kyoto Botanical Garden
It is not a special place, but you can feel as if you are staying in the forest in the middle of the city. Except for certain flower seasons, it is often quiet and relaxing.
Like a botanical garden, the flowers that match the season bloom one after another. Plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, double cherry blossoms, tulips, roses, lotuses, etc.
If you like to see seasonal flowers, this is a good place to visit.
