Maison De Margarett
A bagel, homemade butter, and cream cheese takeout shop that feels like stumbling upon a quaint alley in Paris. The space may be small, but it's filled with tastefully chosen decor and interiors. They offer light morning bagels, salt bread, and bagel sandwiches among other things. Some products may sell out quickly, so it's better to hurry.

A new cafe in Seongsu-dong, opened in a renovated house, Kayane. This place, which also serves as a grocery dealing with food and wine, introduces a cat as its CEO. Unfortunately, the cat CEO comes to work only about once a month, but this sleek and cute CEO is a precious Bengal cat. The menu includes simple beverages and desserts such as caramel milk, flower tea, and espresso.
손수도니카이 하이볼
Located near Seongsu Station, the highball bar 'Sonsudo Nikai' was opened by the popular team in Seongsudong. The range of highballs was diverse, catering from beginners to aficionados, and the food menu was reasonably priced, reminiscent of a Japanese snack bar. The quality of the food menu was uniformly high, making it seem like a great place to order the entire menu with a group. It is recommended as a go-to place for the busy end-of-year and beginning-of-year gatherings in Seongsudong.
Tete
A brunch restaurant located on the first floor of the Yewon Building, 21, Seoul Forest 4-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Opens relatively early, making it a good place for those with early appointments. The space itself has a light wood and comfortable green tone that is pleasing to everyone. The food is delicious, and there is a terrace inside the space, making it a nice place to enjoy the atmosphere and taste outside on good weather days.
Ssijang
A newly emerged Paris street market bakery cafe in Seongsu-dong, Ssi_Jang. Ssi_Jang, a new brand from the famous butter-sand shop MilkyShop, is decorated with a Paris street market concept, giving it a woody feeling and a warm atmosphere. The exposed bricks and arch-shaped interior make it feel like you're in an alley in Europe, offering a travel-like sensation. It serves a variety of baguettes and freshly prepared warm food, along with matching coffee and juice.
Birch Coffee

If you're a coffee lover who has visited New York, you might have been to Birch Coffee, which has now landed in Seongsu-dong. Tucked away in a corner of Seongsu-dong, finding it on a cold day felt like being on a plane to New York. The cafe is not large, but the atmosphere is excellent. The black-toned interior with abundant natural light allows for a leisurely time in Seongsu-dong. Luckily, there seems to be no waiting yet due to it not being widely known. The taste of American coffee, which I haven't had in a while, was enough to bring back memories of traveling. Ice Americano and cortado are recommended.
PEEPS
PEEPS, a French & Italian-based fresh pasta specialty restaurant where you can enjoy natural wine, has settled in Seongsu Forest. If you take a seat at the bar with an open kitchen after ordering, you can see the entire process of making fresh pasta. Gnocchi with peanut pumpkin puree and semifreddo dessert are considered essential courses, so they are recommended to everyone. All menus resonate well with their natural wines, emphasizing the ingredients' inherent flavors. (For those who do not drink alcohol, grape ade is recommended.) With luxurious plating and friendly service, plan to revisit for the next important appointment.

비파서울(bepa)

BEPA Seoul, an Asian noodle bar located near Seongsu-dong, features delicious menus from Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Sichuan. Opened in 2022 by the famous Nampara group, its signature dish, Singaporean 'Laksa,' offers a unique taste with rich and spicy broth, smooth coconut milk, lemongrass, and lime. Customers can choose between rice noodles or fresh noodles without an extra charge, enhancing their attachment to their selected menu. The inclusion of 'cilantro,' despite its polarizing nature among customers, adds an authentic touch to its offerings. Laksa, filled with chicken and seafood toppings, is surprisingly palatable for all, thanks to its balanced spice levels. The growing popularity of Asian cuisine provides a comforting alternative for travel-restricted diners. The clever use of spices in new restaurants turns once-alien flavors into welcome additions to the culinary landscape. A small change can indeed move mountains—or in this case, taste buds. In summary, it was a delightful dining experience.

Beer as an Experience, Fermented Ghost
As a drink to forget the summer thirst, known only as four cans for ten thousand won at the convenience store, or as a drink that fills you up... If that's all you knew about beer, this place will change your mind.
Trying different beers for the first time and finding your taste is a good experience, but more importantly, the story of beer that this place tells is not limited to just the taste.
It includes the story of the producers, the regional characteristics and charm, and the stories happening in the world beer scene. Following the kind guide of Miyeon, the sommelier and representative, you'll find yourself lost in the charm of beer without an exit.
In every sip, every drink we take, there are more stories than we think. Just as the more closely you look, the more beautiful it becomes, the deeper the experience gets the more you know.
It would be nice if this place is remembered as such a place by many people.
kompakt recordbar ver.3
A music bar where the LP music was so good, Kompakt Record Bar🎶. It fits so well with the hip Seongsu-dong, and it's already too famous in Sinsa-dong, right? From the moment you enter, the DJ's sense of music selection gets you excited🪩. It's a great place to have a simple drink of whiskey or gin when you don't want to go home after a meal🥃. Of course, as you enjoy both music and alcohol, time flies by, but don't worry, they are open until dawn😉💤. + You can change whiskey to a highball by adding 1000 won. Don't go. I'll go by myself😎. ✔️ No parking in front of the store.
레타주 L'étage

Ttukseom's cozy hideaway, wine bar 'Lettuce' is known for its tasteful food, as is the case with Euljiro's 'Snug'. Although many wine bars have recently emerged, not many offer food that complements wine as well. Lettuce stands out with its well-curated menu that pairs excellently with wine. Notably, the grilled Spanish mackerel, crispy and moist, goes remarkably well with perilla leaves mixed in sesame oil. Each dish reflects the chef's thoughtful culinary approach, achieving harmony between food, wine, and ambiance. Ingredients like buttered scallops, smoked roe, fresh pasta, and homemade jambon fill the palate with rich flavors, making it irresistible not to tilt the wine glass. It seems it might soon become difficult to book. Recommended for those wanting to spend quality time with friends or partners.
