The Silla Millennium Library, transformed from an old building once used as a storage vault, is now remodeled into a library. Located within the National Gyeongju Museum, it modernly interprets the spatial aesthetics of the Janggyeong Panjeon of Haeinsa Temple, symbolically embodying the history of Silla in its architecture. In particular, it modernizes the traditional wooden structure common in historical architecture, expanding the spatial boundaries to add a visually majestic and beautiful atmosphere. With the opening of the library, books and materials previously inaccessible to the public are now available. Ominyon Brunch Cafe is nestled among youth hostels frequented by travelers. Orders are placed through a kiosk, reducing order errors. The cafe has a unique terraced seating arrangement, with each table set at a different level, offering a close yet comfortable distance between tables. The signature menu item is the Pork Pan Paltta priced at 13.5 won, an open sandwich topped with pulled pork. After returning from a trip to Thailand, I was obsessed with Eggs Benedict, so I ordered it. The Eggs Benedict, priced at 12.5 won, had a harmonious taste, although the scent of bacon conflicted with the tomato, prompting me to remove the tomato. I wonder if using cooked tomatoes might stabilize the flavor. Operating hours are 10:30 to 18:00, with Tuesdays off.
