Myeongseondo
MyeongSeon Island, a place showcasing unique charms by day and night. It exudes a tranquil aura during the day, but at night, it is reborn into a dazzling display of media art. It is a highly recommended spot for viewing Ulsan's nightscapes. It's like encountering a scene from the movie Avatar. Parking is available along the roadside.
Daewangam Park
Daewangam Park, one of the most iconic tourist destinations in Ulsan, boasts a beautiful landscape where the sea and pine forests blend together. Personally, I think the view of this place, combined with the sunset, is truly beautiful. 🔍 Daewangam Park is a national cultural heritage site and can be visited for free. The coastal walk of Daewangam Park is 1.5km in total length, and it takes about 40 to 60 minutes. There are benches and rest areas along the way, making it comfortable for those who find it difficult to walk. I highly recommend visiting Daewangam Park, which includes Korea's first lighthouse, lush pine forests, and bizarre rock formations.
궁거랑공원
Gunggeorang Park, a representative cherry blossom festival spot in Ulsan, is a compound word combining 'Gung' (bow) which reflects the bow-shaped curve of the Mugeo Stream and 'Georang,' a Gyeongsang-do dialect meaning a small stream. The Mugeo Stream, designed as an ecological stream, boasts about 400 cherry trees along a 2.5km cherry blossom path. It is recommended to park in the nearby public parking lot and walk due to the narrow roads, which can feel like a trap with no escape once entered. 🤣
Muk-ri 459 Ulsan Branch
The emotionally evocative interior of "Ulsan Mukli 459" reminiscent of the universe's black holes.
The interior, with sculptures reminiscent of black holes, seems to absorb everything around it, showcasing a space where architectural art is integrated. The exterior space offers a tranquil natural landscape for a healing experience.
For brunch, you can enjoy the Mukli 459 salad made with hydroponically grown ingredients and perilla leaf pasta, with the fragrant and umami taste of home-grown perilla leaves.
