이곳은 잘 알려지지 않은 브런치 명소 중 일부이며, 그중 일부는 종일 카페로도 운영됩니다. 실내든 실외든 완벽한 분위기를 선사합니다.
Sunflower Gramercy
This bright café has something for everyone. Breakfast classics, salads, burgers and bowls. Not only is it all presented so nicely, but it’s equally as appetizing too. Incredible coffee and massive cookies you’ll have trouble saying no to.
The Dutch
The Dutch is a SoHo staple by renowned Chef Andrew Carmellini. It’s an American restaurant, bar and oyster room with now extended outdoor seating beyond the sidewalk. It was previously voted New York Times Restaurant of the Year.
You can’t go wrong with any of the cocktails or any of the brunch items.
La Grande Boucherie
While it’s a traditional French restaurant, there’s something for everyone when it comes to brunch here. Plus, you’ll be sitting in the most elegant space with arched skylight ceilings. I don’t always go for sweets, but I will here to change it up!
Epistrophy
This is one of the first brunch spots I went to when I moved to New York and it has continued to be a favorite. It’s homey and serves an organic, locally sourced menu based on Sardinian recipes and traditions. The couch window seat at the front is where you’ll want to be.
Opt for the zucchini fritters on the healthier side or the lemon ricotta pancakes for a sweet treat.
The Daisy Line
This spread at The Daisy is one I’ll always remember. From the quinoa veggie bowl to the brioche Nutella French toast, there’s something for everyone.
The Wild Son Lunch Counter
They’re the star of this photo and certainly the star of the menu: meet The Wild Son’s buttermilk pancakes. They’re a fan favorite and so are the side of potatoes. Also, how cute are those salt and pepper shakers?
Egg Shop
This has all of the elements of a great brunch: ambience, variety of menu options and open late. Some of the locations are quite small so there may be a line but it’s very much worth it. Also, their side of potato pancakes are a MUST .
L’Adresse American Bistro
The brunch here is innovative and unique focused on both seasonal and European touches. The plating and interior is especially beautiful. I tried the matcha pancakes which was a first for me and a few starters.
Milk & Roses
Milk and Roses has been a gem since 2010 serving American cuisine with European flair. If you sit outside, you‘ll be amongst a rustic patio and it’s incredibly peaceful. The pancakes are a favorite, as is the shakshuka.
Au Za'atar - East Village
This is a top Lebanese / Middle Eastern destination in the East Village that has now extended to Midtown. The dips to share are a must as are the flatbreads/pizzas. It was the first time I tried falafel on pizza and I’ve come back for it since many times.
It’s great for friends, family, birthdays and other special occasions!
Cafe Colette
If you’re in the Williamsburg area or just looking to venture out for brunch, this is a great choice. They serve New American cuisine with international influences and it’s all locally sourced. If you don’t want breakfast food, there’s a variety of lunch-focused items on the brunch menu including fish tacos, cheeseburger and fries, salmon bowl and more.
GupShup
GupShup is as artistic in design as it is in the menu which is full of delicious Indian cuisine. The name translates to “chitchat” or “hanging out” and the restaurant aims to capture the energy and spirit of Bombay. Every dish is flavorful and exciting and there’s a great variety of drinks too, including those frozen.
I especially loved their take on avocado toast with the freshly baked Everything Kulcha.
Banter NYC
A very lovely Australian brunch spot in the West Village. They are most known for their Golden Folded Eggs that are soft scrambled and their delicious bowls.
Cafe d’Alsace
This is an upper east side corner jewel and truly a neighborhood place. Reflecting on the name, they serve Alsatian cuisine which is the cuisine of the Alsace region of France. There’s a great mix of sweets and larger entrees.
러비스 카페
This is one of those places that’s very neighborhood-like. It’s a great and easy option, but may not be your first if you’ve been a few times and want something different. However, when I can’t decide, I’ll often return back here! The fries are my favorite and the salads are extremely popular.
Cafe Alula
All-day Lebanese café with amazing food. Love the mezze plates, pitas and falafel. They also have a backyard with tons of greenery that makes you feel like you’re in another city!
