I highly recommend taking the tram across to Roosevelt Island! It’s quick and a unique experience by way of a $2.75 metrocard swipe. You’ll see a beautiful bird’s-eye view of the East River and city skyline.

**There are alternatives to getting to Roosevelt a island including train, bike, bus, car and ferry.
