양천공원 책쉼터
Yangcheon-gu, Seoul • Culture
Let's enjoy reading leisurely at the library that embraces architectural beauty and nature in autumn, the season of Cheongomabi. Yangcheon Park Book Shelter, which opened in November of last year, boasts a beautiful architecture enough to win the Grand Prize at the 2021 Republic of Korea Public Architecture Award and the Excellence Award at the 2021 Seoul Architecture Awards. Built along the lawn line, this attractively curved exterior draws attention, and when you step inside, you will find a more wonderful space where nature, rest and people harmonize. Through the long windows and folding doors, you can take a break with a book while taking in the beautiful nature in each season, from the thick greenery to the colorful autumn leaves and the romantic snow scene with white snow falling on the branches. There are parks and playgrounds around the shelter, so just sitting and looking at the outside will purify your mind. Even if you don't have a lot of interest in reading, it is a place where you can open your own book thanks to the beautiful architecture and space. Isn't this also one of the pure functions of public architecture? ✔️ add. 111, Mokdongdong-ro, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul ✔️ insta. @ycparkfriends ✔️ 🚘 Use public on-street parking
