A hanok cafe in Ikseon-dong
Mi Damheon
Midamheon is a hanok cafe in Ikseon-dong. Ikseon-dong Alley is always crowded with people, and you can meet Midamheon here. Midamheon was a restaurant famous for small first-year celebrations, but it is now being used as a cafe selling coffee and beer. Contrary to what it looks like from the outside, the inside is very spacious because two hanok houses are connected. The peculiar thing is that you have to enter the entrance, go through the yard and go through the interior to order, and since there are two yards, there are two entrances. There is no doubt that it is a place where you can feel the old-fashioned atmosphere of hanok and has various charms during the day and at night.
⠀
Inside, the space is very spacious, including the indoor sarangchae space and the yard, and it was a place where there were a lot of strangely customers, but the fact that you can spend a quiet and calm time came to me as a charm. The staff is also friendly, and personally, I liked the relaxed atmosphere of the space more than the satisfaction with drinks or desserts.

-I am using it as a Fritz blend

📍 Coffee
⠀
I ordered an Americano, which was a well-balanced and slightly acidic fritz bean. Coffee was a bit disappointing for me personally.

🎶 Music
⠀
Mi Damheon's music is colored with domestic songs. Well-known ballad music fills the space. Well, what is the intention? Regardless of the high level of perfection in the space, there are spaces where ballad music is suitable and spaces where it is not. The selection of ballads in a hanok cafe is very disappointing, and I think it would be better to make the old atmosphere of hanok a little deeper with a calm performance song without vocals. The music played in a space or store should not be played to the music that the people who run the place want to hear, but to give an impression of the place to those who visit.
