Warp Warp is a new cafe in Gangneung. My wife and I visited this place as a new cafe by chance during a cafe tour in Gangneung. It was made by renovating an old building, and it seems to be a hot place in Gangneung by adding a modern sensibility to hanok. The interior feels like a cafe in Seongsu-dong, and the interior seen from the outside is also quite nice.

Inside, there are tables inside and outside with a coffee bar as the center. Rather than staying for a long time, I felt like a place where I could relieve the fatigue of my trip to Gangneung with a cup of yanggaeng and coffee. The staff were very friendly, and since the restaurant has just opened, I think the menu or overall operation plan will be refined a bit.

I ordered an Americano, but personally, it was a little disappointing that the bitterness remained for a long time. As it is currently temporarily open, the beans are subject to change in the future.

The music of Warpwarp is colored with hip-hop music. It's the music that fits the space. And the music goes well with the employees who work there, but when we think about music from the customer's point of view, I think we need to think a little more about whether hip-hop music is right for this space. I don't like serious and calm pop songs, and jazz doesn't suit me even more. Personally, I prefer Lo-fi jazz hip-hop over hip-hop genre.
