On the last day of my trip to Gangneung, unable to sleep due to excitement from Korea's victory over Portugal and advancing to the round of 16, I walked out into the cold to witness the sunrise at Gangmun Beach. The charm that makes one forget the cold, due to the hot sun rising above the sea, seems to be the reason to visit the winter sea ๐
