Tide Water

tide water
Tidewater is a hanok cafe located in Seochon. As soon as it opened, it gained a lot of popularity and became a hot spot in Seochon. I missed the timing when it opened, so I only went there now. It stands out that there is a courtyard on the outdoor terrace. By utilizing the U-shaped hanok structure, the meaning of the area called Seochon and the branding elements of Tidewater are melted together. The atmosphere of the space is cozy with the down-toned lighting, and I think it is a cafe where you can feel the space beauty of using a small space wisely rather than a very large space.
⠀
There are about 6-7 tables inside, and the seats are located on the left and right sides of the coffee bar. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio seating. When most of the children of the younger generation visit Seochon with their parents, they tend to find a hanok cafe with a young sense. It is a cafe that satisfies that purpose, and it is like a little peace in the bustling alley of Seochon.

📍 Coffee

I ordered an Americano, and the first taste started with a savory taste, and towards the end, I was able to meet a coffee that felt the sweetness of chocolate.

🎶 Music
⠀
Tidewater's music is colored with jazz POP and alternative music. Songs from my wife's favorite “Benny Sings” fill the room, and they fit perfectly. Stylish and vintage music adds to the sophistication of Tidewater.
