The Okura Tokyo Heritage Tower
“The essence of Omotenashi that makes you feel like you are at a luxury ryokan”
Traveling becomes a special memory just by walking on the street, but if you stay at a good hotel, the trip will go beyond special and will give you an impression that will not be forgotten for a long time. If you're looking for some of Tokyo's most impressive service, don't hesitate to visit The Okura Tokyo's Heritage Tower. In order to provide the best convenience and peace to a small number of guests, the Heritage Tower is staffed by dozens of service staff with years of experience and know-how, who provide very formal and high-quality omotenashi.
There are two buildings on the grounds of The Okura Tokyo Hotel: Prestige Tower and Heritage Tower. I put the record of staying at the Prestige Tower in the previous day log.
Although it is the same Okura Hotel, the Heritage Tower has a very different concept from the Prestige Tower. Prestige targets relatively young people, while Heritage targets elegant elderly couples in their 60s or older. A gentle and profound air flows throughout the building, and although many service staff are stationed there, they are placed out of sight, giving a private feeling.
All guest rooms at the Heritage Tower are all in-room check-in and check-out, and there is a steam sauna in the room. All guests can use the Executive Lounge free of charge and provide free breakfast/free valet/free press service. Amenities are unified with Bamford and THREE, and fresh flowers of Ikebana placed in all directions in the room make you feel the liveliness of the season. Overall, it is similar to Aman Tokyo's room design, but if Aman's rooms pursued simple/refined minimalism, the Heritage Tower's rooms emphasized beauty through filling.
For breakfast, be sure to try French toast at Nouvelle Epoque, French dining. You'll feel like you've been teleported to France's Auberge instead of Tokyo.
