Cachies Bagels
Mexico City, Mexico • Dessert / Bakery
Cachies Bagels, a charming bagel shop in the Roma district of Mexico City, has been bustling since its opening in July. It's particularly popular among guests from the Americas and Europe. It's a mystery how they all find this place without a blog...
You can order a half-and-half open sandwich, so I tried the salmon toast and Honey Bunny, half a piece each. The salmon toast is deliciously savory with smoked salmon, dill, thick cream cheese, capers, onions, and the perfect finishing touch of lemon juice, yellow tomatoes and a generous serving of fresh black pepper. Honey Bunny is a sweet and fragrant open sandwich with peanut cream, honey, and apples. The combination of these two menus is simply great!
Even if you just order bagels and cream cheese, they generously spread cream cheese with fruits on the side. There are about seven types of bagels and the bread itself is very tasty, making it a good place to have a refreshing and satisfying brunch time. However, since it's newly opened, the system is lacking and the temporary building-like atmosphere may feel a bit chaotic, making the service and space aspect subjective to personal taste. Despite this, the sandwiches are so satisfying, I recommend it without hesitation!
