🤭A confectionery store where you can expect fun and creative desserts 🧾Latte 4.5 Milfeuille Vanilla 8.5 🕠Everyday 12:00-20:00 (Monday closed) 📍Aconte, a shortened French word for “continue”, 3, Donggyo-ro 51-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul. It is a shop that contains the owner's wish to continue to provide a good experience to customers with delicious desserts. Although the menus are French confectionery products, they were presenting creative desserts unique to Aconte by mixing Korean elements well. In particular, the Yeonnam-dong Gongju Tteok, a cake that looks like black sesame injeolmi, thought it was a real rice cake until I personally visited it. You should definitely try it and come back! 🍰 Mill-feuille I've only seen pastries stacked in a square shape, but the wheat-feuille here has a slightly different shape. Vanilla cream is piled on a pie shaped like a mother's hand pie, which is vertically stacked in several layers, and salty caramel sauce is applied. The buttery taste is not strong on the pie, so it is light, but the more you chew it, the more savory it is, so this is very attractive. Vanilla cream with mascarpone added to anglaise aged for one day is also very tasty. Overall, it wasn't strong, but it was well-balanced, so it was a Milfeuille with a charm that quietly permeates. Oh, and personally, the latte was very delicious. You say that you use beans from the Upside Roastery, but I got the feeling that it goes well with the dessert of Accomte. After experiencing the balance of Milfeuille, I am so curious about the combinations of other desserts, so I will definitely visit again soon!
