Knows Changdeok
Jongno-gu, Seoul • Restaurant
KNOWS, a brand that creates exciting synergies with various brands in spaces across Jongno, has started its fourth project. Although the focus temporarily shifted away from other areas to capture the essence of Jongno for a guidebook, the launch of a new space by KNOWS in Jongno, a place you cannot omit when talking about the area, was a compelling reason to visit. Following the beloved Jongno, Punggyeong, and Anguk locations, the latest is KNOWS Changdeok.
Brands participating in this Changdeok project include a coffee workshop and Su-eul-gwan, offering unique coffee and various brunches interpreted in Korean style. As soon as you enter the space, the retro songs playing from LP records make you truly feel the KNOWS atmosphere. Utilizing the characteristics of the space near Changdeok Palace, this location wonderfully incorporates tranquil and Korean elements throughout.
The coffee menu, especially the cold brew served in ceramic cups, was quite impressive. The signature dishes from KNOWS always feel unique and well-crafted, and the newly introduced Nurungji latte and sandwich were no exception, stunning in both visuals and taste. When the weather gets warmer, the thought of sitting outside facing Changdeok Palace and enjoying some leisure time seems delightful.
Being part of the beginning of a brand that continues to expand cool spaces in a beloved area is truly exciting. It suggests the brand has gained a lot of trust and recognition. I, too, look forward to the start of the fourth project with KNOWS.
