A bustling moonrise, the sea and space. - Busan, a city where a splendid city and a great sea coexist. This city is sometimes referred to as 'Busy' by people from other regions with a joke. Born and raised in Busan for 20 years, I agree with that statement. A number of factors, such as people's tendencies and urban development, support this statement, but it is difficult to explain it with just one. Only experience will make clear the meaning of these words. I was well aware of the beauty of this place because I was born and raised in a city with the sea, but it was after I came to Seoul that I truly realized the beauty of this sea. You can see the sea in 30 minutes by subway. Here in the Seoul area, it was a story that was unheard of. The climatic advantages of the sea and the unique view of the city created by the harbor and the sea route were something that was difficult to see. - Among the countless seas of Busan that take a panoramic view from such a city, the places where you can clearly see the 'spectacle' are 'Haeundae' and 'Gwangalli'. Today, Haeundae is one of the two seas, and Dalmaji Pass is especially popular there. Haeundae was named after the scholar Choi Chi-won, a scholar from Silla, who took his name a long time ago. Also, Haeun means mist of the sea, and it has been that way since the time of Silla. To get a good view of the shipping, you have to climb up the hill, but in my experience, Dalmaji Pass is the best place to see it. Looking down on the sea, the sea breeze blows, and the sea is hanging from the windows of these spaces. The scenery is so beautiful that some of the beautiful spaces here have the name 'Cha-gyeong [borrowing the scenery]'. As such, the capital of modern society values the advantages of this place, and new spaces are introduced one after another. Among the buildings here in Busan, I often feel that buildings that I would not have been able to try easily are tough. Maybe it's because of the reckless nature of the sea people, but there are many places where things that would have been difficult if you tried to do it from above were rough but bustling. Even today's space shows a little bit of that bustle. - This is a space with a complex ed program, multi-purpose program: a space with two different characteristics, and a complex cultural space at Haeundae Dalmaji Pass. There is a furniture showroom from the first basement to the second floor, a bookstore on the third floor, and a cafe on the fourth floor. The rooftop is occupied by a cafe. The sea can be seen in the background of the furniture. This is the view of the bookstore as well as the view of the cafe. I couldn't be more happy because I wanted to see the sea so much. Even today, you can see the low tide of the sea over the sea of Haeundae. The sunlight of the sea is more intense than warm. There is a distinctly different impression from the downtown area where the color and degree of light entering the space are different. It is good to enjoy nature as it is, but sometimes it is wonderful to enjoy the sea in such a wonderful space. - - Beautiful furnishings, books selected to your liking, and Life Coffee, which you want to enjoy a nice coffee and space, prepares coffee here only by brewing method. It's tough and bustling, but it's beautiful and cares about it. Every day, you return home feeling the taste of your hometown. - I wish I could enjoy a space like this on a moonlit night as soon as possible... - This is the space of Dalmaji Hill with the sea #wekBusan, #LifeCoffee&T. - Location _ 167 Dalmaji-gil 65beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan - Business hours _ 11-19 [18:30 last order] - Parking available - Menu is attached. - PS. This space is being operated in accordance with the 2nd stage of the government's Corona Prevention Guidelines. Also, it is currently unavailable due to rooftop renovation work. Please take this into consideration so that there is no inconvenience in using the space.

With Haeundae in the background, if you want to make your own memories or to sit and enjoy a relaxing break, I recommend 'Oaze Busan', which operates as a cafe during the day and a pub at night. With a size of 300 pyeong, there is no feeling of stuffiness, so it shows the aspect of a so-called 'view restaurant'. For city dwellers living in the cramped city, the wide open sea is healing itself. When I saw the sentence “Oasis is in my mind”, I thought that it would be okay to use it as my own oasis.

I stopped by Tide again after a long time in Busan, where I went down to congratulate an acquaintance.
It was a pity that I came here when it was cloudy, but I had to visit at sunset later, but the timing was good and I visited again.
Still, it was nice to feel the unique quietness of the space when I visited, and seeing a couple enjoying the sunset while looking at the sea of Haeundae, the scene seemed more romantic for nothing.

It's been a long time since I've watched the sunset process, so it was so good to watch everything from orange to purple without worrying about it in a really long time.

“The Power of Space”

Coming from all directions
Is it just a great sound?

Surrounded by melody,
If you sit in a seat like an orchestra
never felt anywhere
You can experience bliss.

deceiving sight and hearing
An experience as if you were in another world.

These days, including cafes, are common
We set out to pursue this aberration-like experience.

This is probably
It is a place that best shows the power of space in Busan.

atypical architecture. - In the past, buildings were not designed with computers as they are now. I drew the building by hand, thinking about the process of being built on paper. After the concept of Nurbs came out, I started designing buildings with free-form or cubic surfaces with a computer program instead of by hand. Non-uniform rational B-spline is the full name. This line stores the curvature of the cubic curve by the value of gravity. It is not a way to store curvature values as points above the coordinate system before nurbs. When one gravitational value changes, the line or face organically changes its shape accordingly. - This story is very important in modern architecture. - The concept of 'NURBS' was introduced and the big concepts of buildings began to change through the development of computer programs. The biggest change from the user's point of view is the loss of 'entrance'. In the past, it was not possible to tour the entire building. It's because I couldn't look at the whole building unless I turned into a bird and flew away. Therefore, in order to enter the building from the point of view of a person, one must enter through the entrance, and the entrance was considered very important as the first impression of the space. But now you can easily tour the building appetizer programmatically. That's the blueprint that hangs big as we walk past the construction site. Therefore, the importance of the entrance is no longer important to the architects, and the form and atypical organicity of the building face a major turning point, saying that it is a new architecture. - Another characteristic that occurs in these organic forms is the destruction of symmetry. A sense of rumbling in the interior space that is felt in the asymmetry begins to develop. In the space, the plane freely forms a sense of space that was not previously available according to the external shape. The plan oscillates up and down, and parts of the building read in section are out of order. This gives people a very different impression of each part. - It is a form of space that fits the flow of a world that pursues various values and recognizes individual tastes. Other than this, many parts have changed, but in a big way, this modern architecture was born. - The space we are introducing today is such a place. - Received the 2018 Korean Architecture Award, and it is a space that has already been loved by many people because it contains a panoramic view of the sea and a variety of tastes. Delicious coffee, a well-crafted system, and the sea breeze and sound. Watching the sea, sipping a cup of hot coffee, and spending time with loved ones. Wouldn't it be terrifying just thinking about it? - Even if you wear a mask, the feeling does not change. Please make sure to wear a mask and walk around. Today's post is a bit difficult, but thank you to everyone who read it all.🙏🏻 - Location _ 286, Haemaji-ro, Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan - Hours of Operation _ 11-24 - Parking available - Menu is attached.

car scenery, borrow the scenery - The first time I set foot in this space was already 4 years ago. The hard-to-find entrance and the space where I hesitated and entered. Before entering, I had only entered with tension and urgency. When the door opened and I entered, the tension and urgency disappeared like snow, and I was relieved by the scenery outside the window and the sunlight coming in through the large window. The sea horizon, the blue sky, and the green branches hanging a little below the picture frame seemed to be looking at a painting. It is also a very well drawn picture. I spent quite a bit of time in this space. - There were many stories while living here, but what I want to talk about today is the term 'chagyeong' used in architecture. - There are many things that are important outside the space, but after you finish the appreciation focused on the view you experience from the outside, the feeling you feel inside is bound to be stronger. It seems that the importance of windows in such an interior space has already been conveyed through the three stories so far. There is so much to say, and the question 'what will you show?' in the interior space is very important. Moreover, the front window shown in the first photo is even more meaningful. This is because it is a courageous work that maximizes the scene you want to show. To put it simply, it means that we want to bring the scene into the space because it is beautiful even when the whole is shown, rather than cutting out a part of the foreground to make it look pretty. As such, the word 'chagyeong' is not easy to save and borrowing nature is not a common case that can be done anywhere. - Just as we borrowed the natural scenery and brought in the interior, so is the food here. - The chef here prays that he borrows ingredients from nature for a while. When it turns to ashes, it returns to dust. Beyond that mindset, this place only accepts 2 groups of guests for lunch and dinner every day, and prepares the best food and service for them. Even when I was working as a server in this space, I spent every day washing all the silverware and washing precious dishes, practicing making coffee and pouring wine. All platemates and fabrics on the guest table were washed and ironed daily, and even towels entering the bathroom had to be ironed with a view. Each morning, we had a meeting to raise the expectations of their meal by memorizing the menu that was changed according to the guests who came in the morning through a certain process. - One chef and one server prepare for only one team. - Space and food, all borrowed from nature. Meals at this place change into Shinseon Noreum in spring. We eat while looking at the cherry blossoms rising from the bottom of the frame and the blue sea. You can just sit back and focus on your meal. Take a bite and taste while looking at the scenery. Two mouths, a story with the precious people who came with you. The story is deeply remembered with the help of nature. What makes the experience here so good is that it gives you the feeling that 'I don't know, but there's a lot ready for this one meal I've been given'. - What are you going to show me? It's a very important story for a space and a brand. It is usually easily referred to as a 'root question' in two words, but these two words are not easy to describe in words alone. We know it's not easy to show that both the space and the brand clearly want to show it. But this place called 'Cha-kyung' where I worked is like that. Perhaps this was the standard for me to view brands and spaces in commercial spaces. It is a must-visit place when we go to Busan every year, and we enjoy greeting the chef and talking about the past. - I would like to introduce this space in the hope that everyone who visits this space will also enjoy it. - This is a space borrowed from nature. This is a private restaurant #Chakyung. - Parking available - A menu is attached. - Meals are only accepted by prior reservation, and lunch is served as a set meal and dinner is a course. Lunch and dinner prices vary a lot. architechu

The airport terminal cafe I wanted to go to when I went to Busan✈️

It was one of the Busan cafes I didn't want to miss.
It was the first cafe I visited as soon as I arrived in Seomyeon.

Surprised by the interior and accessories🧳
Even the plane boarding ticket given as a commemorative🎫
Even the airport broadcasts with a sense of presence that can be heard in between📟

It has been a cafe with the best expression of 'detail' in recent years😭

So if you go to Seomyeon, I definitely recommend a cafe,

He also sang about the four seasons and seasons. This is a huge space in front of Gijang Sea in Busan. The seasons are displayed at the center of the space. It is a privilege unique to Korean architecture. The location of the space in front of the sea is also excellent. Wouldn't it be plentiful in autumn, with bread made by a master chef, a warm latte, and in front of your feet? - It was summer. - It's a magic sentence. It is the most typical hot and humid day, and it is actually the most annoying season, but it is the season that will be remembered most beautifully after passing. Summer always leaves behind a scene. This sentence can only be felt by Koreans or people of countries with four seasons. In particular, Korea has four seasons. It is a matter of course, but the fact that there are four seasons for people who deal with space means that they have to proceed with the difficult design, unlike other countries that only have a single season. For example, since Singapore is a country with only summer, it is possible to design relatively generous windows and outdoor spaces. However, in Korea, a difficult design that requires space to be used in response to dramatic seasonal changes is inevitable. Instead, we can have a special experience. The fact that you can see different aspects of the space depending on the season. This is an advantage that space can acquire as much as the difficulty of design. - Seasons are generally thought to change according to changes in nature: 'flowers in spring, greenery and sea in summer, leaves and mountains in autumn, and snow in winter'. If we look closely in this context, the space seems irrelevant to its change. However, the experience inside the space changes according to the change of the scene seen inside and outside and the temperature and color of the incoming sunlight. - Today's space seems to want to receive the changes of the four seasons. - Located on the coast, it is a space in Gijang, Busan where you can basically get the scent of the sea and the sound of waves. Interestingly, a courtyard with a hackberry planted traditionally in the past [court yard]: An artificial garden created with a space centered around the garden. In the case of Korea, among traditional house styles, the ㅁ-shaped hanok corresponds to this.]. Centering on the hackberry, which prayed for well-being, ash, ginger, seaweed, and lilac and lotus flowers are together. It is undoubtedly a pretty high-quality garden. As with the various types of plantings, the changes according to the seasons are clearly visible. This courtyard can be seen anywhere in the space. In the coastal terrain with severe steps, it is split into two floors, and the view from the human eye level and the scene looking down on the garden change depending on the height, and there are various ways to appreciate the season. - Lastly, the experience on the last 3rd floor is also with the sea, and the appreciation of this place shows diversity throughout the four seasons. - The project of rebranding a famous local bakery in collaboration with a local architect. The experience in the space is great, but the bread, coffee, and brand story you eat here are all worthy of praise. Perhaps it is one of the spaces the artist has visited that captures time the most? think and tell stories. - This is #ChilamSagye, a space that contains the four seasons of Chilam, Gijang, Busan. - Location _ 7-10, Chilam 1-gil, Ilgwang-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan - Business hours _ Daily 10:00-20:00 Last Order 19:30 - Parking lot - Attached is the menu. Bread and coffee are both delicious. - PS. This space is operating in accordance with the Busan Corona Virus Prevention Guidelines. Please note that there is no inconvenience in using the space.
