"Paying more for an excess rather than less for sufficiency" - Each branch with a different concept, unpredictable interiors lead to a seemingly messy burger. But a messy burger isn't a bad thing. The steak, protruding as if to catch you by surprise, is as delicious as it looks, with its 72-hour aged, thick yet tender meat that blends perfectly with the moist and crunchy bun, from flavor to texture. Priced at a surprisingly affordable 12,900 KRW, this burger alone brings to mind the slogan of a cost-effective burger franchise: "Why pay more? It’s good enough." I, for one, think it’s better to pay more for an excess.

Simibe
'Simibe', an izakaya located in Sindang-dong
It is an impressive place with a combination of sushi quality fresh raw materials and the chef's sensible combination. Gomasaba, a pickled mackerel menu with sesame sauce, was personally the best.
Along with the rich sashimi, Shimibe's signature Yamamori sushi with gyoku and ganpyomaki underneath was also delicious. It was a great place to use as a hideout after work.
The overall menu is reasonably priced, so it is recommended if you visit nearby.

D.PIN, a natural wine bar located near Sindang Station, transcends its wine bar category with the fantastic dishes prepared by Chef Yun Nam-no and the staff. Among the seafood dishes, the conchiglia pasta with abalone was great, and personally, the meat dishes from the charcoal menu were the most impressive. The degree of doneness of the Australian Wagyu was excellent, but the pork tenderloin, ordered after a 40-minute wait, was superbly grilled. Poultry dishes are known to be good as well, but they are not currently offered. The natural wine list is also well-curated for pairing with the dishes, and it’s a highly recommended visit for meat lovers.

“Sindang-dong freed from the obsession with tteokbokki”
Now that delicious tteokbokki is spreading all over the country,
The recognition of Sindang-dong, whose image has been hardened with tteokbokki, is not what it used to be.
Chungmu Art Center, where famous performances are held regularly,
Thanks to Jungang Market, which is still alive as a large market
Although the local crowd is still large,
When talking about eating out or cafes, Sindang-dong
It's not a neighborhood that's usually talked about.
“Do you want to eat tteokbokki? Why?”
Sindang-dong is tteokbokki,
Tteokbokki can be eaten at home,
Because all kinds of tteokbokki are delicious.
People who were so crowded to eat tteokbokki
It is no longer found,
Even the appearance of Sindang-dong in my memory was gradually forgotten.

Seoul Tourism Organization's official, Sindang-dong is 'a place that has not been polished yet'.
Unordered alleys around the central market
The jagged old buildings we have never lived in
It is a unique landscape that allows you to feel the old scenery.
The flow of this town
"hey! Like a joke, “It would be nice if we opened a cafe here.”
As many ㅇRidangil series have followed.
It goes on and on as expected.
Every corner of Sindang-dong I recently visited
New restaurants and cafes began to appear,
Fortunately, it is called ‘Hipdang-dong’ rather than Sinridan-gil.
It attracts a lot of people.
If you look at the long queues in the few cafes yet,
It depicts Sindang-dong, which will not be able to go even if they want to go soon.
By that time, now, Sindang-dong
Could it be said that we have escaped the obsession with tteokbokki?
This is the place in charge of the trendy espresso bar in Hipdang-dong.

Located within Hwanghak Market, the traditional bar 'Sseuhhp' features an interior designed like a bar and offers an attractive list of traditional Korean spirits and whiskies, along with internationally inspired dishes. This place is succinctly described as a great place to drink. Even if you're not into traditional spirits, the dishes are unique and excellent, making it a recommended spot. It's advised to visit on a first-come, first-served basis as reservations are only available for four-person tables.

It hasn't been like that before, but these days, listening to hi-fi music that isn't carefully set up makes my ears tired. Nevertheless, I don't want to own LPs and related audio equipment, except for aesthetics, but I can see why LPs are still loved. Although the characteristic comfortable and soft tone will one day be replaced by digital Lo-Fi, I think the acoustic color and visual picture provided by the LP will remain as elements that people seek for a long time in the future.
It was a world that I had not yet experienced in person, so I went there out of vague curiosity. As soon as I opened the door and entered, I was able to experience as if the DJ was making music selections in front of my eyes through the counter where the LPs were placed. The feeling of this place is more like being invited to a DJ's room rather than a shop or cafe. For drinks, you can choose either tea or coffee. Maybe it was because of your mood, but the taste of coffee was also comfortable, as if someone had brought it home.
Those who listen to music on LPs will already know this place, but if you visit a cafe at least once, you will feel a different vibe. Unusually, there is a space for customers who have ordered coffee to sit and drink 100 meters away, so it is recommended to double-check the address.

Charcoal-grilled Chicken with Oak Wood: A chicken grilled over oak wood, filled with fluffy neungi mushroom sticky rice.
Chicken Gizzard Green Onion Fry: Chicken gizzards filled with green onions, coated in batter and fried.
Meat Soybean Paste Buckwheat Noodles: Buckwheat noodles with soybean paste, topped with chicken feet jelly.
Just a hindrance to explain in great detail.
Just by looking at the menu, it's impossible for it not to be delicious, and that taste is both healthy and light.
This seems to be the first time in a while where the reward truly comes after the effort, especially in the quiet market alley of Sindang-dong, where waiting is a given after work.
Among the parade of these dripping chickens, who will end up eating the most calorie-rich royal jelly at the very bottom layer?
As someone who prefers lean chicken breasts without the oil, I absolutely did not want to eat it, but others were all coveting it.

LA CALLE
Authentic street tacos in Sindang-dong Market?! LA CALLE | La Calle [@la.calle_official] ⠀ From Seoul Forest's Mexican cuisine <El Molino>, La Calle, which could only be met during lunch, has become independent and moved to the Sindang Seoul Central Market. ⠀ It's impressive that in Sindang-dong, which has as many hip stores as Seongdong, it's located within the central market arcade. ⠀ Considering the commercial area is centered around the market, if there's a generational change with young owners like La Calle, it's believed the market's lifespan will extend. ⠀ With a chef who is a Le Cordon Bleu graduate and a winner of local competitions in Mexico overseeing, there's no doubt about the taste, and the combination of Korea's traditional market with authentic street tacos is a charm point! ⠀ Moreover, compared to the upscale restaurant <El Molino>, it can be enjoyed at a reasonable price without any burden! ⠀ \ ⠀ 📍 42, Toegye-ro 85-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul • Currently in soft opening period • Wed/Thu/Sun 17:00 - 22:00, Fri-Sat 17:00 - 24:00 • For operating information during the soft opening period, refer to La Calle Instagram!

Located near Sindang Station, Hani Kalguksu. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the signature Algoni Kalguksu this time, but I did try the Hangover Kalguksu, which had a rich and refreshing broth and chewy noodles. A mixed plate that comes with boiled pork and meatballs also seemed like a decent side dish. It looks like a good place to visit for a hangover cure the next day or even for a late-night meal. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

The peter coffee
There was such a pretty cafe near the Chungmu Art Center.
I went on a Sunday morning at 11am and it was quiet and nice.
You can also choose between two coffee beans.
So many types of bread!
I stopped by before lunch, so I only tasted one bread.
It was bread topped with olives and it was delicious!
The round window was beautiful,
The scenery outside was quite different from the inside (lol)
I wondered if that was the charm of this place. :)
Korean points were interesting everywhere.
There is a counter and a bakery on the first floor.
There are several small tables on the second floor.
There is one large table on the third floor.
(The bathroom is also on the 3rd floor, and there is a sink in the center open type.
There is a single bathroom on either side. clean!)
There seems to be a terrace on the 4th floor too!
It wasn't open when I went.
It was quiet and the coffee was delicious and good.
I will go again ♥︎

Near Sindang-dong Tteokbokki Town,
Newly located at the mouth of a narrow alley in Sindang-dong
“Godori,” a cafe that has been converted into a home
The name of the cafe, 'Godori', was inspired by the hanbok, which was used a lot by the elderly in the old days, and it is said that it was built in the hope that the alley will be alive and the business district will be revitalized. The interior was decorated sensibly in a small but open space using red, the point color.
In addition, it was a different feeling by creating different atmospheres throughout the space, and it was fun to look around with Korean elements.
We introduce the representative menus 'Black Sesame Latte' and 'Mugwort Cream Latte', which you can feel the spicy flavor.
