Slapt Coffee, which left me with good memories when I visited Gyeongju, has opened its second branch in Minrak-dong, Busan. Like the original Slapt Coffee, it's full of Southeast Asian resort-like atmosphere and natural vibes. The new Busan branch is renovated from an old house, with various spaces arranged from the terrace to the first floor and the mezzanine. The menu includes today's soup, jambon beurre, sweet baguette, sliced baguette, filter coffee, Slapt Latte, and more. The menu items shown in the photo, sliced baguette and filter coffee, were neatly enjoyable. When you order a sliced baguette, it comes with whipped cream. ✔ add. 17 Minrak-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan, 1st floor of Slapt ✔ insta. @slept.official

The new cafe PIEDRA in Gwangalli is located between the subway station and the sea, making it a great place to stop by while passing. The morning light coming in through the east-facing windows is truly pleasant. In spring, cherry blossoms scatter delightfully outside the window, and in autumn, the ginkgo leaves outside turn golden.

“Real brunch shop”

If you go to Gwangan General Market, there is a brunch shop that is always recommended.

Every time I go to Busan, I try to visit this place.
I always had to turn around due to waiting or early closing,
Luckily, on this itinerary, I was able to enter with only a short wait.

As brunch shops became popular
Nowadays, there is no big difference in the composition or taste of the menu,
The brunch here was fresh from the menu choices as I heard.

All kinds of ingredients were used generously for the food that came out,
It's clean, it's clean, and it's fast.
This is a brunch menu that you can enjoy comfortably.

-

If you think about it, Bondi brunch is a busy day.
It is a healthy and light food,

Recently, in Asia, the meaning has been distorted.
Sweet heavy things are often packaged as 'brunch'.

These days, the meaning of brunch is fading.
If you want to try real brunch, why not stop by here.

There is a difference between likes and dislikes about the light and healthy taste.
I haven't seen anyone call this place bad yet.

I feel like this place is a 'real brunch shop' from the opening hours.

A coffee gem with a unique spatial arrangement. Where do you pay? Where's the counter? Is this the kitchen or a table? It's a cafe designed to confuse, with the kitchen and table area merged into one space, eliminating the boundary between customers and baristas. The seating arrangement was changed from bar seats to this integrated layout due to the low preference for bar seating in Busan, making it easier to approach the baristas. The only separate area is for roasting, highlighting its identity as a roasting cafe. Not only coffee but also wine and beer are available for sale. There's also an outdoor seat, making it a perfect cafe to visit right now. I ordered a filter coffee called Ecuador Chorlora Sidra Honey, noted with apple, maple syrup, and brown sugar flavors. Even though a month has passed, the initial impression of flamboyance remains. Given that I finished my drink despite planning to drink only a bit since I had coffee before, it seems I really liked it. Americano price is 5.0, and filter coffee ranges from 6.5 to 7.0. Operating hours are daily from 12:00 - 21:00, closed on Wednesdays. It's located at 103 Suyeong-ro 600beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan.

A new trendy bakery showcases various colored salt bread.

As the orange sign caught my eye, I approached and found an incredibly charming cafe painted in beige with orange accents. The exterior is beautifully accented, making it a 'sightseeing' spot for its appearance and sunlight! Moreover, the variety of colored salt bread available is irresistibly delicious.

🏠Space
The interior is divided into bar seats directly visible from the entrance in front of the window and table spaces on the right second floor. The main area on the second floor gets the best light and has plenty of tables, 42 two-person tables, and 1 four-person table, with additional bar seats by the window. Despite having many seats, it feels a bit cramped, but the large windows are a saving grace. Perhaps removing one table might not be a bad idea...

🍞Menu
The most eye-catching were the red and black salt breads. The red one contains red yeast rice, giving it its color. This rice is made by fermenting white rice with a red yeast mold. The black is colored with squid ink, as expected. In addition to salt bread, lemon, carrot cream cheese, and tiramisu pound cakes are available. Drinks include basic coffee-based beverages, the signature house melalatte, and strawberry and apple mango latte made with homemade strawberry and apple mango puree.

🥤House Melalatte and Red Yeast Rice Salt Bread
I ordered the signature house melalatte and red-colored salt bread. House melalatte is an Einspanner drink with homemade espresso cream on milk. It tastes exactly as one would imagine a creamy latte would. But the salt bread here is really good. Added chestnut cream can be ordered, and the combination of this cream with the salt bread was delightful. I've never been a big fan of salt bread, but on this day, perhaps because of the chestnut cream, I have fond memories of enjoying it very much.

Afternoon tea - Black tea cannot be mixed with the sea. It had spread to the European market through the trade of the Dutch East India Company. This car with many stories that British people often enjoyed, the story continues along the sea. The 'Boston Car Incident', which was also a fuse of the American Revolutionary War, begins by throwing tea boxes brought in from Britain into the sea. - The space that made production, culture, and history went through the sea, but the consumption of 'black tea' was mostly done on land. It is the opposite of the 'Dutch coffee (cold brew)' that we are familiar with. Nevertheless, today's space is located in front of the river and sea. The Suyeong River in Busan leads to the sea. In a way, it is not exactly the sea due to its geographical characteristics, but it is the sea if you walk a little, and you can enjoy the sea to your heart's content from the inside of the space. - Because this building is along a narrow waterfront road, you cannot feel the overall appreciation of the building right in front of it. Instead, you can see the original shape of the building when you cross the river or go out to sea, and I want you to enjoy the appreciation of the proportions made by columns, beams, and slabs. It is very impressive to see the view from afar at that moment when the sun sets. - Enjoy the whole view and when you enter the space, you can enjoy tea on the roof floor and below it. - Came in in the afternoon and ordered tea. - The high floor height and the height of the floor divided into various crabs provide a variety of experiences unlike calm tea. You can enjoy the river and sea through the window. Drinking black tea on the rooftop reminds us of the story of black tea with the sea breeze. - As the sun goes down, the scene of the sea seen in the field of view changes the word 'afternoon tea' to a more wonderful and deep experience. - Do Busan people know that they have such a privilege? - The fact that you can easily live your daily life with the sea in the background. It is a space where you can feel the charm of this city once again. - This is #Afternoon Tea in Suyeong, Busan, a space that tells the story of tea. - Location _ 4th floor, 243, Millaksubyeon-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan - Business hours _ 10:30~23:00 - Parking available - The menu is attached. - PS. This space is being operated in accordance with the government's Corona Virus Prevention Guideline 1.5. Please take this into consideration so that there is no inconvenience in using the space.

Situated in a colossal factory-like building, upon entering the dim entrance, a bright light greets visitors at the end of a long corridor. One instinctively moves towards the light. While starting from a location on land, the light leads to a spacious plaza by the sea, blending light and sea. The journey encompasses rich cultural content including music, clothes, and food.
Millac The Market, honored with the Grand Prize at the 2022 Korea Space Culture Awards and the Busan Architecture Grand Prize, presents an external impression reminiscent of a huge factory and an industrial interior, offering views of Gwangalli Beach. It is an open square that gathers culture and people between land and sea.

[Trendy Market]
Connecting three buildings to create a large indoor space, the central linear corridor simplifies movement. Comfortable exploration is facilitated by a mix of food outlets, clothing, and photo zones, offering an experience of trendy brands, products, and display methods not found in department stores or outlets. The stylish use of neon signs and subtle indirect lighting signifies the modernity of space planning and design.

[Main Hall]
The journey down the corridor's central light unveils the main plaza, where people sit on stepped seating, sharing food and conversations. The overwhelming spatial feel and the thick structure of the steel reinforcements are captivating, with exposed beams and ceilings emphasizing the industrial image. Beyond the intersecting steel structures, the Gwangalli Beach is visible, reminiscent of a live video playing on a gigantic screen-shaped house. Unlike cinemas with designated seating, here, one can move freely to any desired seat, offering greater convenience. Lower seats are recommended for those wanting to bask in the sunlight, and the location also serves as a venue for music performances and a vantage point during the Busan Fireworks Festival.

Encapsulating both the landscape of land and water, the location provides a comprehensive cultural experience, suggesting a visit to award-winning architectural and cultural spaces for a fulfilling everyday life. The importance of continuing the positive experiences felt in such spaces and personally expanding those experiences for freedom and joy in both the process and outcome is emphasized.

three nerds. - A small hole shop in front of Exit 8 of Dusil Station. There we went home drinking soda for 700 won. Somehow, for more than 10 years, they have been helping each other by rolling arms around each other on special occasions, and each other hurting each other as if it was their own job. The three idiots who went to different high schools and other colleges and went far away, but always met without any hesitation when going down and up, drinking for granted and resolving their grievances, are now adults and walking their separate ways. - From middle school, I read the book '101 Things I Learned in Architecture School' and wanted to build, but I was stubborn and now I am designing buildings in the field. The idiot who said he was going to start a business is also going to Vietnam to try and start it. - When there was work in their own home, they watched each other with open eyes for three days and three nights, and when their parents were sick and hospitalized, they bought a flower and went to the hospital instead. I watched him cry like a fool because he was upset after being broken, and even the day before he went to the army, we drank together and talked all night. One was an exchange student, and while we were at our school, we lived together, and the two except me were in the same university. Even when I was not tight, when I was young, and when I grew up, I stayed together without change. - Those idiots now drive their cars to where they want to go. One person plays the song as they do, and the other finds space as they do. They are idiots who do what they really want to do. - Also, while sleeping in a nice space, one person talks about the space, one person sings a trot, and the other person talks about business. They say that the strong Nooran tequila is good value for money for us to drink, pour a bottle of it, and grab the chestnuts and talk. - There were a lot of great things. I thought we had known each other's love history since we were nosebleeds, knew everything about our family, and only talked about silly, funny stories. And now I am doing it. - I want those idiots to live as if nothing special to each other until the end, no matter what. I'm going to end this post with the hope that everything goes well for both of them, who are leaving for Vietnam next year to build a new home. Please stay healthy. - To. To our readers. - This space is a guest house operated by reservation system. We booked a room with an attic on the 3rd floor and there are other rooms downstairs. There is a laundry room on the first floor, and I want it to be a better space for those who travel for a long time. Parking facilities are fully equipped, and it is about a 3-5 minute walk to Gwangalli Beach. All kitchen utensils and utensils for convenience are provided. You only need to bring food to eat, food to drink, and clothes to change into. This is a diary for friends who are leaving today, but it's a good space that doesn't need any explanation. I think you can go ahead and trust it. Thank you for always reading this long post.🙇🏻 - From. Geun-chan. - Location _ 9, Gwangan-ro 21beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan - Parking available - For reservations, search for #lost penguin online. Alternatively, click the first picture to enter the official account, and make a reservation through the #stayfolio link. Check-in instructions will be sent via text message on the same day.
