😳 Oh! Is there an old prison cafe like this in Eonju Station? 🧾Sandwich Coffee Set 6.9 Sandwich 7.5-7.8 🕙 Weekdays 8:30 - 22:00 Sat 11:00 - 19:00 📍 10 Bongeunsa-ro 29-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul I found a cafe that feels like I've never seen it before! I thought there were only cafes in other neighborhoods that remodeled old prisons like this, but oh! You were also at Eonju Station! In addition, the business starts at 8:30. I love cafes that open early in the morning!!. The cafe occupies two floors. There is also a small, yard-like space, and there are tables. There are about four tables on the first floor and there are quite a few seats on the second floor. However, there is a sofa seat on the first floor, so I thought it would be better for those who want to sit comfortably on the first floor. It feels better to be on the 2nd floor for a computer. The second floor also has outdoor seating like a veranda, so it was perfect to sit in in the present weather. In addition to drinks, sandwiches, pasta, and soups are also on the menu. I ordered the mini laugen sandwich and coffee set menu. A simple sandwich with ham, tomato and cheese is served with coffee between the laugen pretzels. I ordered a set menu to eat lightly, but I regretted it a little. Why did I eat this delicious thing in half... ㅠㅠ There are three sandwiches on the menu: chicken, ham, and salmon, and I have a feeling that I will come to conquer all of them. :) The space is pretty, opens early, the owner is kind, and the menus are all delicious.. What the hell is this cafe lacking?!?! .

The newly relocated Andmill. The space has become much larger and prettier, and thanks to its location on the third floor, plenty of sunlight comes in, making the space bright and cheerful. The view could be better considering it's in Seongsu, but even so, the inside is a haven for sunlight. Expecting that there wouldn't be many people around the opening hours since it's the third floor, I was surprised to see 3-4 groups already there. The location isn't a big issue once word-of-mouth spreads for well-branded locations. Andmill is known for its sandwiches and soups. Ever since it was in Sadang, it has grown as a brand known for its aesthetically pleasing sandwiches and excellent taste, so you can trust their food! Other than their signature dishes like shrimp egg sandwich and sweet pumpkin consommé, monthly limited menus are also one of the charms of Andmill. I ordered the December limited menu, a grilled cheese and corn sandwich... The visuals of heaps of cream cheese, corn kernels, cheddar cheese, and bacon between the bread are overwhelming. It's a good balance of sweetness from cream cheese and saltiness from bacon, and plenty of corn provided great texture. With red chili powder on top, I even got a hint of Mexican elote vibe. A hot burger joint from Bangbae-dong, the Buster's Burgers, has launched in Apgujeong. Their limited menu consists of just one item, the Buster's Burger, and a side order of potato fries (Tater Tots). With a single offering, they opened their store which is impressive and they have expanded it to branches! The Buster's Burger is a basic burger filled with scotch steak and topped with onions and cheese in a crispy bun. The taste provides by these simple and clear-cut ingredients are intense.

When bitten into, a variety of textures are felt - from the crispy bun, moist bread, to the tender steak and cheese. Contrary to the visuals, the meat wasn't dry but tender and the baguette, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, wrapped the meat nicely. If you crave a unique taste, you can also eat it with the accompanying truffle mayo or sauerkraut.

The only side dish, the Tater Tots, provides a crunchier feeling than normal french fries. The truffle mayo that comes alongside it makes for a great dip. The burger was satisfying and the hip space was attractive. The tables had hand-washing stations between them, and while convenient, could be a little awkward when it gets crowded. A downside is the lack of zero sugar cola, which would be a nice addition. The flavourful taste of America is highly recommended for those who want to experience it!

🥪Sandwich cafe with added taste and emotion

I thought it would be a place full of Instagrammable emotions, but it also tastes good. Everyone was taking pictures over there, so I took my own pictures. :) I think it would be prettier if I took the picture when the sun came up, but I didn't know when it would come in...
I think it would be good to curate a list of places where the afternoon light is pretty and the morning light is pretty. This is probably a pretty place in the afternoon light!

What I ordered is a set-!
It consists of a half-size sandwich and an Americano in corn soup. You can choose between a hambri apple or chili chicken abo for the sandwich.

Chodang Corn Soup was really delicious. I don't want to buy a large size separately.. I want to buy it.. The sweet and savory soup goes well with crunchy corn kernels.

The hambri apple sandwich is also very good. Topped with ham, thick brie cheese, arugula and sliced apples. The refreshing sweet and salty combination of apple, ham and cheese is good. I really like apple sandwiches, so I'm happy that there are so many of them here and there!

In addition to soup and sandwiches, fruits and bread for soup are also served, so it is a very satisfying composition- I think. There are a lot of questions about other sandwiches, so I feel like I'll be visiting often!

🥪Sandwich with traces of meticulous care

Sandwich house flat iron, which was popular on Gyeongnidan-gil, changed its name to Cumulus and came to Seongsu-dong. Actually, it's been a while.

I came here purely because of that truffle hot sauce. When you order a roast chicken sandwich, Truff, a very popular truffle hot sauce in the US, comes out and you can sprinkle it on the sandwich as much as you want. I don't know who started it first, but the red visual that was poured over the sandwich like that stimulated my curiosity too much.

Grilled chicken leg meat, tomato, cheddar, monterizek, mozzarella cheese and wasabi mayonnaise are filled between crispy toasted bread. The bread is Pande Eco's Tangjong bread. Whether the bread was really well baked or the bread itself was good, the crispiness was maintained until the last bite. As soon as you receive the sliced bread, the cheese stretches out and the visual is very good. One side was filled with truffle hot sauce and the other side was just delicious, but I liked the truffle hot sauce showing its presence in the middle. It comes with celery, tomato, and olive pickle next to it, and the kids are really good too. If only one more came out...

🥖Mianonna, famous for a light sandwich made with high-quality baguettes, has entered The Shops at Centerfield, which will soon be reborn as a hot spot. All of the stores in Centerfield boast luxurious and stylish interiors, and among them, they show a wonderful appearance. Sandwiches are all sandwiches made with baguettes. In particular, it was nice to be able to choose between two sizes: 130 grams of Piccolo and 170 grams of Lungo. There are a total of six sandwich menus, such as Jambonvur, which is popular these days, and Gajikopa, which is also available in the existing Mianonna store, as well as bakery products such as cookies and muffins, and granata suitable for the current weather. 🇺🇸 Steamed Delicatessen Filled with American Ingredients Greatest Of All Time Taste! Gott Deli, a sandwich specialty shop with the intention of always providing the best taste. Based on a variety of sandwiches, they sell pizza and several side menus. It's a popular restaurant that has just opened but can only be eaten on weekends. I thought it would be popular to have an American feel from the outside. The interior was as hip as the exterior. Wooden tables and chairs with iron frames, and sensual props scattered throughout, gave the impression of American materials. It seemed like he had thrown away some vintage accessories, but it looked great in my eyes. There is also a set menu where you can choose one of the three sides (house pickle, french fries, mushroom soup) for the sandwich. I added mushroom soup to my old school pastrami. 🥪Old School Pastrami Crispy baked rye bread with smoked pastrami, pickles and dill. There's the whole grain mustard sauce. I liked that the homemade pastrami and dill flavor went well together, but my mouth felt a little salty. But nonetheless, it was delicious! It would be better to have it with beer. DeliKatson's Wit & Meat aims to offer traditional American sandwiches. They distinguish themselves by making their own bakery offerings and various juicy meat sandwiches every morning. This location, full of sandwiches made with their own bread and deliciously juicy meat, is growing in popularity as handmade burger joints are replaced with sandwich shops, reflecting another trend move within the American restaurant scene.

Their restaurant vibe is in line with the currently trending 1970s American interior style, even from the entrance. The structure of the space, as well as the shape and color of the interior, give off an authentic American feel. The lighting and even the Coca-Cola napkin holder placed next to the table seem meticulously thought out to represent Wit & Meat's unique taste. In front of the open kitchen, you can see their bakery section and various meats such as Porchetta, Pastrami, and Jamon, as well as ham.

The Porchetta sandwich I ordered was a traditional Italian dish - a roll of pork belly filled with spices. The outside was crispy and the inside was full of juicy meat. It was enjoyable to eat as the crispy outside and tender inner meat harmonized well. When I added cheese sauce, the visual of cheese flowing out of the bread was incredible. I recommend adding cheese as the flavor was also enhanced. The coleslaw, which I ordered as a side, was generous and satisfying.

In addition to coleslaw, they also offer a variety of other side dishes and desserts such as clam chowder, potato carrot raphes, brownies, and banana bread. It's a great sandwich shop that can take the place vacated by Double Truffle on Garosu Street!
