Located in Hannam-dong, the fine dining restaurant 'MOSU' was crowned with three Michelin stars in 2022. Innovative modern cuisine is led by Chef An Sungjae. From the amuse-bouche, the details of the flavors are delicately well expressed, pleasing the palate. The use of seafood left an impression of excellence, not only in the quality of the ingredients but also the thoughtfulness behind the pairing of certain side ingredients to create fresh and synergistic dishes. The service and handling by the servers and sommeliers were, of course, commendable. If you're curious about Korea's new three-star dining, it is highly recommended to visit.

Gaon, a Korean fine-dining restaurant that has maintained 3 stars in the Michelin Guide for 5 consecutive years, does not simply modernize the court food, but serves the most precious person in the country during the Joseon Dynasty, the meal served on the day of the king. Let's take a look at the flow and present it as a course. The king's diet is a diet that puts the health of the eater at the center, as can be seen from the fact that the frame was set by the medical clinic that was responsible for the king's health. Sura-sang contains the essence of Korean food called sikchi, an old wisdom that has been contemplating on which ingredients to choose and how to cook them according to the flow of seasons and energy. In Gaon, the flow of old wisdom is unraveled with ingredients from the mountains and seas of Korea according to the season and presented as a Korean course meal. We show you that you can fly in the healthiest season. The best Korean food is the long-standing philosophy of Gaon that reveals its true value when combined with Korea's high-quality food, clothing, and shelter culture. To welcome the best Korean food, I drew a rustic but dignified house. We welcome you in the space built up as the core of hanok, 'a house that is completed by the boundaries of space, blank space in the background, and the movement of people'.

Mingles๐Ÿฝ

Mingles has achieved the current World Best 62th Rank and Michelin 2 stars for modern Korean dining with the theme of 'harmoniously putting different things together'.

Chef Min-goo Kang, the owner-chef, looks at Korean food from different perspectives every time how to express it in a modern way.

Before the corona virus, we were constantly collaborating with famous chefs from all over the world for many exchanges.

Mingle's food is generally less favorable, and it is a place where guests can enjoy a meal comfortably.

Although the strong impact is relatively small, the flow of the course without clogging brings out the immersion of the guests.

If you're just starting out in dining or want to dine in a great place for an anniversary, I'll sit back and recommend Mingles.

The general flow of the restaurant experience falls into two categories:

1. Consistently maintain the taste and experience, or
2. It is unfortunate that the taste or experience changes over time, but it is not possible to find it.

Jook, which added one star to this year's Michelin Guide, is a very rare restaurant that develops over time.

From the days of Cheongdam-dong, when there were no stars, to the present, it is worth paying attention to once in a while the power to impress with the taste and service that offsets the occasional price increase or location change. A place where he writes with his own hands the story of a splendid future from a feeble beginning, rather than being forgotten later on from a splendid beginning.

Kojima๐Ÿฃ

If you are looking for the best sushi restaurants in Seoul or Korea, visiting Kojima, located in Boon the Shop in Cheongdam, is the wisest choice.

Sushi Omakase made with only the best ingredients by Chef Park Kyung-jae, a well-known sushi master in Korea.

If you've tried some sushi and love sushi, I think you'll immediately know why Kojima's sushi is so special, why, and how great it is.

Kojima is the best sushi restaurant in Korea that offers the highest prices, but you will never feel like you're wasting it.

If you want to be impressed with sushi in Korea, I recommend you to visit even if you are in a hurry.

By the way, you can take pictures, but please remember that you can only do it silently and with your cell phone so that you do not disturb others :)

The restaurant was so delicious๐Ÿฝ
Octopus, abalone, pork soup, delicious gimbap, Jangdokdae dessert, and delicious menu items that I still want to eat again after several months have been filled.
It's not as good as it used to be, but it's still a place with two Michelin stars, and I'm satisfied enough!

Shilla Hotel's "Rayeon" Korean restaurant is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable special moment with your parents. This venue unveils a new menu with every season, offering a unique experience each visit. Rayeon's course meal, which has been awarded three Michelin stars, exudes a distinctive charm in quality and flavor, and its fresh cuisine is especially recommended for culinary enthusiastsโ€”a must-try dish. While every dish showcases outstanding quality, what personally stood out most was the deep, richly flavored soybean paste soup served with the main meal. Particularly, the soybean paste soup, presented in a different style each time, brings an element of delightful surprise, allowing you to experience a new taste with every visit. And one day, when a staff member remembered my request and brought me extra soybean paste soup, it was truly a touching moment.

On my first visit, I enjoyed a variety of dishes with my mother, relishing the joy of that moment, a memory that remains vivid to this day. Rayeon is not merely a place to dine but a special venue for creating cherished memories. Therefore, I highly recommend it as a precious dining spot for special days with your parents.

Kwon Sook-soo, who received 2 Michelin stars for 5 years๐Ÿฝ
As it is the most Korean-style Michelin restaurant, I thought it would be full of flavors like salted seafood and greens, but all the menu items exceeded my expectations.
From the first menu, Juan-sang, it felt really good to come out with our alcohol just like Juan-sang.
Although you can taste the various ingredients, there is not a single dish on the menu that was disappointing, so it is a place I want to come back with my parents.
Pairing courses were varied with wine and Korean alcohol, and the prices were good, and there were also Korean drinks that I had never seen before, so I drank a cocktail called Omija Royal, which was also good.
My 2 Michelin star favorite for a long time was a question, but it seems to have changed today...!

Ala Prima, the only Italian restaurant with two Michelin stars in Korea๐Ÿฝ
Reservation was not difficult, but it was a very satisfying meal!
Some menu items, such as a sandwich with truffle and cheese, a salad with various ingredients, a warm sauce, kale + sedum and gilt, and shiitake mushroom powder kicked in bossapsal, were really memorable for a long time.
I was very impressed with the combination of materials that I had not experienced anywhere else.
The wine pairing was good, the spacious space was good, and everyone was so kind.
It was a very enjoyable weekend thanks to Ala Prima.

Lamant Secret๐Ÿฝ

La Mant Secret, perhaps the most romantic dining in Seoul.

It is also a place where you can taste the contemporary cuisine of Chef Son Jong-won, who used to be a famous Michelin restaurant in San Francisco.

It is a place where presentations are the most important thing in Seoul, and it is also a space that serves up really beautiful dishes.

It is a karma with a strong overall impact that can be felt in the mouth as the harmony of ingredients is so heavy that you can feel the delicate sense of Chef Son Jong-won, not just the visuals.

An attractive Lamant Secret with service to match the food.

You will be amazed at the comfortable service of Captain Inah, who was in London and San Francisco, and the excellent wine choice and handling of Eunhye Choi, sommelier.

For me, La Mant is the first place to go if you are visiting with your lover.

That's because I'm sure it's a space where you can make happy memories with your loved ones :)

thank you for reading.

Allen๐Ÿฝ
The new nest of Chef SeoHyunmin, who was the executive chef at Impression (formerly Michelline 2star). The cuisine SeoHyunmin chef presents in Allen is modern French based on fermentation and aging of Korean cuisine.
He polished French cuisine with experience overseas as a chef at Eleven Madison Park (New York's 3-star restaurant) and it is deeply infused with Korean ingredients such as doenjang, rice nuruk, and Korean vegetables.
Personally, the cooking style has not changed significantly from when he was at Impression, but the high level of completion that has improved noticeably than the previous visits stood out.
Perhaps it was because his understanding of the ingredients had improved?
Allen has become a place where you can experience really fine dishes without any gaps in taste, like an alchemist combining ingredients.
In addition to the food, I think it's a neat and elegant dining room that can be counted in Seoul.
How about having a meal at Allen shortly to leave unforgettable memories with your lover or for an important meal?
Thanks to you, I ate well.

Gang Min-cheol's Restaurant ๐Ÿฝ Experience one of the few classic French fine dining experiences in Korea. Opened in Seoul by Chef Gang Min-cheol, who has spent a long time learning from the master of French cuisine, Pierre Gagnaire. It's a place known for serving multiple dishes in one course, just like at Pierre Gagnaire. The greatest charm of Gang Min-cheol's restaurant might be managing to create such luxurious courses with the limited resources available in Korea, from tableware to ingredients. It's hard to find another place in the country that leaves such a strong, lasting impression. Hence, it's understandable that the restaurant reservations are backed up by three months. There's a love or hate aspect due to the strong flavors and large portions, but you won't regret visiting if you love French cuisine. Thanks for giving us a brief Paris getaway ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป.

Chef Geon Kim's 'Ken Goryori', a Michelin 2022 One-Star
It is a Japanese-based contemporary series, and Chef Geon Kim's unique taste and individual dishes are attractive.

It's a difficult place to make a reservation, so I don't visit often, but what I feel every time I visit is that each dish is densely stacked with flavors. Still, it's really strange that you can feel the balance between the flavors of each ingredient... In particular, the elaborate sauce for each dish seems to be the part that naturally makes an empty plate.

Reservation became even more difficult with the acquisition of One Star, but we recommend you to visit.

Moonee๐Ÿš

'Muni', a Japanese restaurant selected as one of the Michelin Guide Seoul One Stars in 2021.

Dining at Moonee was an experience that I would fully agree with.

Chef Dongwook Kim, who oversees the experience, melts away the experience he has learned so far and serves Japanese cuisine with a definite sense of the season.

From sashimi to tempura, as you can see in the picture, you can enjoy an interesting omakase that is not boring with a variety of high-quality dishes.

Like a film made by a good director, it is a charming place that makes you want to visit whenever the food changes without any major flaws.

Mito ๐Ÿš

Mitou is a 2021 Michelin-starred kaiseki (Japanese dinner) restaurant and an iconic establishment of Seoul kaiseki with a huge fan base.

It is said that the meaning of the name Mito is an unreachable state.

As its meaning, Mitou felt like a space for Chef Kwon Young-woon and Chef Kim Bo-mi to pursue the perfection of food itself.

The fact that each piece and material tells a story, and that it is designed to be easily understood by the guests, makes the two chefs really feel great.

When I saw the two of them cooking, I kept watching them as if they were possessed, so the time waiting for food was no regret at all.

Like such a wonderful appearance, the chefs serve up Mito's unique kaiseki courses, which cannot be found in Japan, using the finest Korean ingredients that can only be experienced at Mitou.

As you eat, you will feel warm and grateful for nothing.

For that reason, whenever I visit Mito, I feel that I want to return sooner rather than feeling that something is missing.

Onjieum Taste Workshop strives to bring out our unique culinary culture that goes beyond simply delicious food.

For this purpose, it is based on historical data or recipes passed down from generation to generation, so it seems somewhat familiar, but each dish is truly extraordinary.

Perhaps because of this special sense of purpose, the experience here felt more like being invited to a famous Jonggat house rather than modern fine dining.

If the ginkgo leaves filling the outside of the window will soon begin to dye, it will be the most luxurious place to enjoy the autumn leaves.

The Itanic Garden, having embraced new changes under Chef Son Jong-won's 'Modern Korean Food', displays an array of beautifully executed dishes that reflect the chef's meticulous attention to detail and diverse considerations in design. Each dish, reflecting meticulous care and Chef Son's personality, harmonizes wonderfully with the theme of Itanic Garden, especially highlighted by his love for Marchรฉ. The Spring herb dish, stacking abalone and beef much like a mille-feuille, brings into question whether there can be a higher standard of beef main in Korea. The seamless course progression, the delivery of an experience meant as a gift to guests, and a comprehensive perspective on the pursuit of taste in food make Itanic Garden a rare find in Seoul. The curiosity about how foreign foodies will view the modernization of Korean cuisine by Itanic is particularly interesting. The chef's hope to continue delighting many guests with such fun dish compositions is well-received with great thanks.
